The two ladies at the front were very sweet, helpful and knowledgeable. I was overwhelmed at the selections of cheeses and spices and other goodies. The meat counter was spotless. Everything looked so so good. The butcher was very nice and fast. All I needed was some ground beef for flautas today. We will be back!”

“My friends and I have been eating this meat for our annual holiday KBBQ for years and it never fails!! The mother and son at the shop were so nice & were kind enough to explain to me the best way to cook them. They even offer a bag of ice if you have a long drive home. Very clean market! The marinated beef finger, marinated and non-marinated short ribs were my favorite! The marinated ghalbi was very good too - nice thick cuts. The kimichi, pickled veges, and radish paper were also delicious! I wish they sold rice paper here - maybe in the future? Hehe. I can't wait to come back again.”

“Don’t listen to the 1 star reviews from snobby people with their head up their butt! This place is AMAZING! The Butchers, Workers & customer service is professional and very helpful & kind. I always come here during lunch for their well known Tri Tip Sammich ? it never disappoints! I’ve taken 2 of my friends to try it & my father and they all loved the Tri Tip. The Prices of their cuts are very good and affordable for the amazing quality you get! 4 fresh natural rib eye steaks for $40 and some change, you can not beat that. Once again I don’t understand these angry reviews from angry people. Take it from a local I highly recommend this Butcher Shop & it makes me never want to have any other meat shop from some average grocery store. As for the angry reviewers complaining about the how expensive it is (it’s not expensive) go to food 4 less. I LOVE Hottinger Family Meats. Feels like home. ❤️”

“10/10...seriously 5 stars ain't enough. So far we have tried the southwest chicken, lemon pepper chicken, shrimp, and ground beef. “This is the best meat market ever! It's very similar to the popular la carneceria meat market in bellflower. Their cuts are amazing. Meat is Super thin and it does not have a lot of fat. Only thing they could work on is packaging it nicer in a foil pan and maybe putting a little more juice when preparing it. They also need to Market more. More people need to know about this place. Still, like I mentioned it's hands down the best of the best! 5 stars FOR SURE!”

“For the most part I'm satisfied with the store itself however at checkout I've experienced boxboys using the checkstand top as a drum. At the end of my stressful workday, spending outrageous prices for nutritional survival, and now I have to endure the tapping torture at checkout and it's becoming too much. As I type my review, I realize the fix. I will just keep headphones on to block out the loud store music and the drummer at checkout. With that said, you will need to communicate with me around my headphones and I will communicate around the drummers.”

“I went a few times during the weekend to buy pan dulce which was decent, and this morning (Tuesday) I went before 8am and was shocked at how crowded it was. I initially was going for their tamales which I've tried before and they were dry and "just ok," enough to satisfy my craving but after seeing everyone in line for the hot food I stood in line as well. They sell tortas with frijoles (beans) with your choice of meat (carne asada, chorizo, chicharrón rojo and verde) i ordered the chicharrón rojo and OMG!! Delicious! I had the guy add salsa and jalapeños which was a mistake because the chicharrón rojo already has a nice kick to it so after my first bite I took out the jalapeños. The few times I went I didn't notice the hot food so not sure if it only sells during certain times. It gets packed in the mornings with people heading to work and the line can get long, I waited about 10 minutes not bad. With my torta and can soda it was $5.77! *Update* tortas sell in the morning until 8amThe reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is because I saw the produce section and it was a bit gross, the carrots and lettuce looked old. I will be going back only because the convenient location and for their tortas!”

“I walked into this spot while visiting the Indian Restaurant next door, surprised they even sold hot food here. Fast forward 2 months….. I was craving a burrito and randomly thought of this spot before heading to Industry Hills Golf course. Walked to the back ordered an al pastor burrito (cook was soo nice), took the ticket to the front paid $11 they give you another ticket then, you give it back the person in the back, it was the day before Christmas Eve and they were pretty busy, the meat market itself is very clean, they do offer deals/sales and again the amount of people that were there showed that the turnover is really good. Really nice owners, loved that the Koreans are down to speak Spanish.”

“This store has such outstanding service I feel it necessary to write another review. On Valentines Day morning I went into this store to purchase a few gift items. Again, I had outstanding service. First, I was greeted by the friendly and kind sushi lady. Her sushi is always delicious and fresh. I ended up buying three containers. Then I meet Jason in the bakery department. This young man is phenomenal, and he went the extra mile and made the most beautiful, dipped strawberries. I ended up buying 12 packages to give as gifts. I also bought his beautifully decorated individual jumbo cupcakes. He is an extremely talented individual. Tony, the store manager, Shawn, Randy, Yvonne and Judy are also phenomenal. They are always there to assist, and this day was no exception!”

I have converted to this BEAUTIFULLY REMODELED and EXTREMELY FRIENDLY and CUSTOMER SERVICE oriented store from the "RUDE" location at 1741 Kellogg Dr, Anaheim, CA 92807. Love the HUGE selection and variety; the beautiful produce dept; the helpful and very friendly baggers who also sweep the aisles. 2 young gentleman approached me w/in 3-4 min's in different aisles yesterday, asking if I was finding everything okay. This hasn't happened to me in YEARS. I work at a company where customer service is paramount, and I love that this store emphasizes the importance of retaining valued customers w/ superb customer service. To the store manager: Keep up the great work! I noticed the difference from the Kellogg Dr. store location (aka: the "RUDE" store) the first time I walked in the door! IMMEDIATELY I was greeted w/ a friendly "hello" once inside (and everytime I've entered since then!) The "RUDE" store on Kellogg Dr. could learn more than a lesson or two from how this store is run and operated. I've heard from several checkers at this store that customers complain often about the store on Kellogg Dr., and they migrate and start shopping at this beautiful and friendly store. It's no surprise why! I have now found my FRIENDLY, GO-TO permanent grocery store!
