“The doctors and PA’s here are amazing. So nice, so thorough and efficient at the same time. Wife made me go in for sinus and cold symptoms because she was sick of hearing me cough at night and was contemplating covering my face with a pillow til the noise stopped. So to prolong my life and my wife’s sanity they gave me the cough medicine I needed. In the end, my wife was right, the great folks at Carbon Health Placentia were right and I’d highly recommend all other doctor averse men like me to just go and do what your wife says or risk ending up the focus of a Dateline episode like I almost did. “Great first experience! Went in for an ACE exam and staff were patient, professional, and friendly. Exam was more thorough than a typical exam/ physical at a regular doctor’s office. The ultrasound body scan was the main reason for me doing the exam. I like the proactive approach to healthcare. Getting ahead of things instead of just applying band-aids after the fact. I’m looking forward to my follow up with the doctor to discuss results and put together a plan for my health-care moving forward. Highly recommend this practice!

“It used to be St. Jude but now I’m guessing Providence took over 1 or 2 years ago since the sign on the building is Providence now. However it is Providence St. Jude now.
Always come in for my wellness check up. No issues. Clean building.
This building has a lot of different offices.
I go to Suite 200. In that suite, it is very big with plenty of seating area. However there are no drinking water in the waiting area. So bring your own water bottle.
Only thing is if your appointment is at a certain time, they make you come 15 min earlier to check in.
Also, your appointment time isn’t exactly when they call you. You’re going to still be waiting longer for them to call you. And then you’re gonna wait more time for the doctor to see you.

“I have been going to Dr Grady for 20+ years and will not know what to do if she retires. This past year has been a doozy with my health issues. My referrals were done quickly and efficiently. Each individual Dr Grady referred me to were A+. My Surgeon for my hip replacement was the best I will be going to him again for the 2nd hip. The staff knows me and are so kind and caring. I’ve seen the negative comments I can’t relate, all I can comment on is my wonderful experience and I hope Dr Grady never retires I need her.”
“I’ve known Dr. Cerni since 2000. My mom was her patient. I also had the great pleasure of knowing her brother-in-law. Joe Cerni. I loved and adored her as my doctor. The most intelligent, caring and with personable bed side manner I’ve never known as a doctor and a wonderful human being. As a medical professional is/was an outstanding medical professional. She was also a friend. The friendship you have with your doctor. Always on a professional level. She treated my like family. That matters. After I had my stroke in 2019 , she saw me a few days after my stroke. Very caring. She told me I’d be fine and I’d make a full recovery. I did. I’m grateful for her. My mom wasn’t so lucky. Nothing she did, but she got the diagnoses right. She had gone to 1 or two other doctors. They didn’t know what was wrong. She did. I know this long winded. Thank you as a wonderful person and an amazing Doctor. Wishing her good luck and health in her retirement.”
“AltaMed has great service at their clinics, and their pharmacy at this location is no exception. I have been a member for over 12 years, have had the best doctor my favorite doctor ever, and this pharmacy also has the BEST staff anywhere. In addition, her front office and nurse were friendly, prompt and efficient. There are some reviews on here that there are issues but I have not encountered any. Would definitely refer to others.”

“In a time when it’s really hard to find a good doctor — one who truly cares and actually listens — Dr. Kenneth Grubs stands out.
He takes the time to listen carefully and goes above and beyond to make sure the right tests are done. If something is going on and he needs to push to get answers faster, he genuinely does everything he can. You never feel rushed or ignored.
The staff are all very nice, friendly, and welcoming.

“This review is actually for Dr. Margaret Tsai since we went there for Dr. Chang's appointment, but we were seen by Dr. Tsai.My daughter's eczema flared up for a few months, maybe because of all the dust from cleaning and moving houses. The eczema got worse throughout all of her body, and even spread to her hands and breasts.This is the first time we came to this office, and we were accepted right away without any hassle. The staff and nurses are nice, welcoming, detailed, and professional. The waiting time was quick, much less than we expected from any other doctors' offices.To our surprise, Dr. Tsai looked rather young, but she was very thorough and patient with us as she spent time to ask and examine my daughter. She answered all of my questions about the medication I had been using, and explained the new ones she was giving.It's been less than a week now, and my daughter's eczema is getting better. I appreciate Dr. Tsai and the staff very much to let us in without a prior appointment. We are very happy, so we can enjoy the holidays now!Have a wonderful Christmas, and a blessed New Year, everyone!”

“Angela the lady at the front welcomed us, and told us the wait would be about an hour.
The waiting room was full, so she let us wait in our car, and we got a call when it was time for us to be seen. It was about an hour wait to be seen, which is understandable because they did have a lot of patients, and we were a walk in.
Physician Assistant Jose, was super nice and professional, he answered all of our questions and concerns and made sure we understood everything.
Evan was also super nice and informative as well, helped answer our questions, and also made sure everything was good before we left.
I love the communication this location has with their patients. Which is rare these days. They are also very pleasant and professional. I definitely recommend this place.
One last thing to note. The hours, it says they are open until 8:30 pm on Sunday, however, they are actually only open until 4:30 pm.”
