Worst phone support. I called in to get clarification and a solution. When you are speaking to some guy in CA who doesn't know anything (or apparently just started) and there is a five second delay in every response, don't bother calling or even buying anything from them. He obviously doesn't know anything. It appeared he would mute the phone, ask the question to his boss, unmute the phone, and repeat the answer. This went on back and forth for 15 minutes. At least be honest and say I just started, say let me get someone that can help you better. I was ignored when asked to speak to someone who knows the product. For people that sell a very specific product, one would think they know the product. It is obvious they don't and don't care how it comes across.

Easy ordering, fast and fair shipping only enhance the good products they offer. Great source for your DC power cabling needs.

Tried to cancel my order immediately after because I got the wrong item. They told me it “shipped in seconds” and they could not cancel it 5 minutes later. Don’t trust them with your money.

I purchased a popular handheld radio through another online vendor and when a problem with the radio was experienced I was directed to contact Powerwerx. They were very quick to communicate with through email, they ultimately reviewed my radio in-person and then replaced it with a new one free of charge, all very promptly. It's hard to find customer service like this anywhere these days, I would highly recommend doing business with them.

I've ordered two cables from them that are worthless junk. They are sold as DC power cables for mobile radios yet they do not come with in-line fuses. In each case it would cost me more to return the item than the refund. I am done doing business with these people.

I purchased an item at a cost of $179.99 that proports to eliminate or at the very least reduce alternator whine from my car audio system. The Newmar 150-A Alternator Line Noise Filter 150 Amp was shipped quickly via fedex at a cost of $16.99. The product arrived by the expected date. Upon installing the noise filter, it did absolutely nothing which it claimed it could do. The noise was still present and was not eliminated or reduced. I received a RMA code and proceeded to pay almost $20 to ship the Newmar 150-A Alternator Line Noise Filter 150 Amp back to POWERWERX. I was refunded the product price only. I messaged POWERWERX and was told they do not refund shipping. So between getting the product and returning it, I lost almost $40 for a product that was not only useless to me, but one that I no longer have. I spent close to $40 with absolutely nothing to show for it. I am extremely disappointed with this company.

Imagine being in 2021 and struggling with small scale shipping logistics. $35 lost to shipping (they make you pay both ways) on a $109 order, returned completely unopened, because they haven't figured out how to build free shipping into their business model. Have you ever encountered a 32% restocking fee? That's essentially the equivalent here.

Update: They issued a return label so at least I'm not out that cost so I updated the review to 3 starts.I ordered a Anytone AT-D878UVII Plus from Powerwerx and when I received the device it was the none "plus" version of the radio. I filed a support ticket with them to get the issue resolved and they granted me a RMA request but wouldn't cover the cost of shipping the device back to them even though it was a mistake on their part. After I filed my support request they updated the website to remove the word "Plus" from the title of the product and then tried to blame me for ordering the wrong product. I presented them evidence showing that the confirmation email I received for the order had the word "Plus" in the product title, I showed them the google cached version of the site and I pointed out that the product URL still has the word "plus" in it. They ignored me and will not cover the cost of shipping and probably wont refund me the original shipping cost.Attached you can see a screenshot of the URL with the word "plus" in it and a screenshot of the cached version of the page before the updated the title to remove the "Plus".I hope this saves other from having a bad experience with Powerwerx

I'm a long time radio operator. My first 2 way radio was when I was 7. We won't mention how many different ones I've used over more than a few decades. Radios need stuff that one doesn't find in a 7 Eleven or Walmart. If you spend much time with radios, you'll finally want to modify or install. If you install a few, you'll learn better ways of installing. Thus why I shop from Powerwerx online. It has the quality cables, lugs, connectors, 2 way radios, DC power accessories, zip cord and tools to do the job right. They sell quality made products (Anderson Powerpole, West Mountain Radio, and many others). All of my shopping with them is online at powerwerx.com . I often use the previous order history so I know precisely what I used 5 years ago to make sure I get the right replacement items. They have great descriptions and pictures to help you realize why you need this or that. If you need assistance, contact them as they are happy to help. They package shipments well, have great prices and orders arrive quickly.

Since I have found this company, they have supplied all of my 12v DC supplies and they respond to all of the silly questions I have through their service ticket option.Prices are reasonable but you pay for what you get and I have found theirs to be just right. And their delivery shows up very quickly for me in SoCal.

I bought a set of GMRS radios from Powerwerx (Tera TR-505) along with a programming cable and the programming software. I was excited to customize the programming to my specific needs but I couldn't get the radio to talk to the software and there was very little in the manual about programming. I called Powerwerx support and Dave walked me through a few troubleshooting steps until we got things working. Dave was very patient and helpful. In light of my initial purchase experience which was smooth and uneventful to this bit of follow up support, I can't help but recommend this outfit and I will likely return for future radio needs.

I have had enough of this place! Nothing but ripoffs if your not friends or family. They don't give Military, LE, First responders or Veteran discounts. The prices on amazon on many items are almost double from the price on the website. NONE of the coupon codes ever work. I have received damaged, wrong items in some cases and even used items. The cheapest shipping is two day. They want $10.+ to ship and item to AZ for a 3ft power cord when you can stick it in an envelope for less than a buck. The custom cables are made in house and many are junk. They pullout of the crimp or cold soldered. Bad heat shrink and even open cuts on some items. I received one power cable with a chunk out of it and black tape wrapped over it, and to top it all off, customer service is a joke. 3 to 5 weeks to get replacements for something that is a stocked item. This needs to go out to All HAM's. Stop buying from this place!! This Jack Hole is ripping you off!!!
