Motel 6 Yreka is easily accessed from the offramp. The crew is absolutely amazing, super nice, helpful, and goes above and beyond. Rooms are described as clean, quiet, and awesome, with one guest noting their room was very clean and did not smell like smoke. The rates are lower, which is appreciated, but the quality can vary. Some rooms have had issues with a stale smell, flies, or unreliable wifi. A major positive is that pets stay free. Its location offers excellent walkability to several restaurants, including a Black Bear Diner right next door. It is considered a great option in a pinch, especially for the price and pet policy.
Showed up late to check in for my room. Was greeted by Contu at the front desk. He was extremely kind and helpful. He offered me a great deal and made sure that I had a very nice stay.
