If I could rate it no Stars that’s what I would rate this experience. I was applying online to bank with Golden One. I had Jump through hoop after hoop after already speaking with someone. They informed me my address wasn’t correct so I gave them the needed information to verify my Address. They took my payment information to be able to open an account and then told me my card declined after it was already billed to them. And kept telling me my card was declined even though I could see in my bank statements where the card had been charged and gone through and even taken money out. They were still telling me it had declined even after showing them proof. I am extremely disappointed because I had heard good things about this bank but I can assure you after the few interactions I had with them it quickly changed my opinion. You’re better off going and banking with someone else who’s honest and up front about charging your card the first time around.

i no longer hold an Account with G1CU due to Company policy and politics of banks. I use to be a member at this credit union for over nine years and opened a student account for my Son in High School. I really appreciated the professional service given by the tellers and bank mangers in the Sacramento Branches, Butte county not so much, thus lead me to end my relationship with G1CU.

It's disheartening when a trusted institution fails to deliver the level of customer service we expect. In this case, it seems that the teller exhibited rude, arrogant behavior and lacked basic customer service skills. As someone who used to love and enjoy their services, it's disappointing to witness such a decline in professionalism among their staff. It's crucial for businesses to prioritize customer satisfaction and ensure their employees are well-trained in providing exceptional service. I encourage you to get better training of the teller's behavior to help the branch address these issues and improve their overall service quality. My experience with teller 6101 gave me the courage to write this feedback hoping thus institution cares and value their costumers. This is not the first time I experience this kind of service.

Horrible service. I didn’t know I have to check in the tablet I had my appointment at 12:50 I arrived there at 12:30 nobody ask me if I need help. Until I had to ask a clerk they told me to sign in the tablet. Bad service bad service

Worst customer service at a bank ever. I'm not even sure why there is a branch here since the tellers tell you to go online. If you need more than. To deposit your money, you need an appointment. Need to change your pin or get a new debit card. You will be given a card with an 800 # on it. I regret opening an account with this credit union. I had one years ago when the CU lost my money for 2 weeks. I came back as my bank merged, and I thought the service was bad. This golden 1 branch has proven me wrong. This branch wins the award for worst customer service.

Please do a better job in regards to cust service. I brought an elderly friend to this location to help her straighten out her acct. Long story short..the asst branch Mngr was unaccommodating, not helpful and borderline rude. I had to provide an alternative course of action for my friend to access her money. That isn't my job Golden 1! That's why you have an assist branch manager, right? Had I not been there to advocate for her she would not have been able to gain access to her funds. Is this how you treat "members"? For that type of experience she might as well move her account to a bank! At least then she would have nationwide branch access. Do better by your members Golden1!

Not a fan. I had higher hopes being that this is a credit union. First of all, they are stuck in the 90's with their technology. Their website always has issues and the app randomly logs you out for "Security." Except I have never in my life had a bank need to do that. So it's just an added inconvenience. This branch is a nightmare to visit. At literally any given time there is MAYBE one banker and two tellers. Obviously the two tellers are suffering and hating life because they have to run the whole ship so they are more often than not depressed or straight up rude. I don't blame them per se but yikes. Hire some more people y'all aren't poor. My husband had to do a wire and the women helping him was not only clueless but rude. He ended up calling their 1-800 number and they told him what she had said was completely incorrect. Oh and they only have one location in this area so you're SOL if you want to go elsewhere. I hate to write bad reviews but this one is definitely earned.

I should of read all reviews before even stepping a foot inside. I went In for a replacement atm card, the lady that helped me said it be a $10 charge. (Not sure if it's the same lady mentioned in the previous reviews but it sounds like it is) I said why is there a fee? According to her, it was due to me previously losing a card or two. I'm like why would it matter? So anyone that asks for more than 1 or 2 replacements will be charged $10 for losing a card?! Seriously?! WOW! She then stated it's free if you want it mailed, but if you want it right now it's $10. WTH?! Never in my adult years have I ever heard this type of BS*. I have banked with several banks and never have they charged for a lost/stolen card. Half my family has golden one and they've had several atm replacement cards and have never had a problem. I'd rather drive extra miles to get better customer service. Especially after losing a frkn card. Thankfully I have 2 other banks. The audacity. Such Poor customer service!

They had two tellers as soon as I was to go next the man excused himself I think they take turns doing their jobs? Maybe had a legit excuse but really every time they had a customer afterwards they excuse them self is there no work ethic anymore?

Warning!!!!! to everyone, do not bank with golden1 credit union every where, multiple times I have experienced miscount on money when I go to depot!!!! This have happened at multiple locations.
