First time taking my kids to the kids club and my 9 year old autistic child was accused of cursing, this may sound like something a typical child does but not this kid. They have what looks to be two girls no older than 16 watching all of these kids. They called the manager to speak to me, and told me that we usually make the child leave, well how about instead of acting like gym police get your facts straight. Even when my child told them what he said, which was far from anything vulgar, they never apologized for assuming or better yet embarrassing me and my children like we did something wrong. I signed up for a year contract but now looking for another gym!On a positive note the gym was very clean.

Membership cancellation is a headache. Just because I want to cancel my membership before the end of contract and willing to pay the cancellation fee, it shouldn’t be such a headache and lengthy process.

This place has really went down hill. Pools are dirty & not heated. The hot tub is not hot. The pools are really nasty & dirty. I see ppl blowing snot rockets on ground and mentally handicap coughing & spiting in pool. Indian men in their underwear. Where are the rules? It’s just gross!

Been meaning to leave a review since new Management took over prior to Sam leaving. Management here that is run by Ashley W. has gone down hill. Reason being, I'm a US Veteran and used to work here part-time for 1yr+ while am going to school full-time, she does not work well amongst veterans myself.Oct 2023, I gave my schedule 1 month in advance that I request Veterans Day off Nov 11, 2023 (Sat). And she said verbally she'll grant it, since I let her know in advance and to annotate availability on paylocity to request time off. And so one month later, she forgot about it, and scheduled me to work that day since there is no coverage and told me to search for coverage myself. So I ask Team Lead (TL) if she can cover my closing shift, and TL says she'll cover me. And so fast forward to one month later, someone else couldn't cover me and urgently ask me to come in on my approve day off on Veterans Day. And I refused as I am with family for dinner all the way in Rocklin.I called Assistant Manager who goes by Manny, and unprofessionally put me on a 3 way phone call with Ashely "General Manager" which I refused to be put on a 3 way phone call and recorded the phone convo. And I just became mute, and they told me I will receive disciplinary actions and reduce in hours come Monday morning when I report in Nov 13 (Monday). With that threat, I immediately resigned that Monday Morning as why would I get paperwork and reduce hours, when my day off as been approved in the appropriate channels set forth via paylocity by Ashley? This General Manager (Ashley W.) and Assistant Manager (Manny E.) doesn't know how to run a business with their ego so up high with their new positions and consistently In-Shape has been short-staffed since they both been appointed to their new positions from within in a short month since Sam transferred to a different In-Shape location. And who do they both turn to for shift coverage as they can't find coverage, ME! Their level of unprofessionalism started not too long ago since late Summer of 2023.Cons:-Current Leadership, horrible amongst Veterans!-No Silver Sneakers, but Snap Fitness, Planet Fitness, North Side Fitness, and Training Zone offers them. The only thing that In-Shape offers for Seniors is a month-to-month or 12-month term Senior Discount, about $20 off per month or so on chosen plan.Membership prices below as of Jan 2024:-Price $50/month-to-month plan + annual fee of $50 in 4months upon signing up. If you want to add children for day care or additional members, it'll be $20/month per person and annual dues goes up to $90.-Price $65/month-to-month plan + annual fee of $50 in 4months upon signing up (Preferred plan includes water massage bed/chair). If you want to add children for day care or additional members, it'll be $20/month per person and annual dues goes up to $90.-Price $45/12month term plan + annual fee of $50 in 4months upon signing up. If you want to add children for day care or additional members, it'll be $20/month per person and annual dues goes up to $90.-Price $60/12month term plan + annual fee of $50 in 4months upon signing up (Preferred plan includes water massage bed/chair). If you want to add children for day care or additional members, it'll be $20/month per person and annual dues goes up to $90.-Steam room and sauna is dirty! Sauna often breaks down every few months.-Public parking is park at your own risk, or risk getting your car broken into. I've worked here for over a year (part-time), you have no idea how many car break-ins have been reported. I highly advice parking your car infront of Starbucks or in front of Winco if you don't want your car broken into by petty theft if you do choose to have a gym membership at In-Shape.Now the question is, will I go back? Most likely not! Not with current toxic leadership/management.
