Im iffy on my review. I have been here plenty of times with my mom and sisters pets and have had a wonderful experience with the techs and doctors, but yesterday was a different experience. I walked in wanting to make an appointment for my dog so that I could get her established with what I thought was a good veterinary hospital. Instead I walked into Jen the receptionist talking horrible about the other staff members to another young woman sitting up front. From what ive always seen, the techs and doctors are absolutely amazing and have great customer service, but the way Jen handled herself and spoke of the team was absolutely horrific. She seems very bitter and I don't think you should have a person up front like that to help customers. If she isnt happy in her job, she should leave. I hope that the entire team knows how wonderful they are and they don't let such a negative person effect their work environment. It sounded like this isnt the first time and I feel like that could easily turn into a hostile environment. Needless to say I turned around and left. I hope to try again in the future and be able to change my review.

Had to take my cat in for a emergency while he developed this was the only place in town that would see me that day. They were nice and took care of him quickly. That was the good, now the bad I was charged a extra fee because it was a "holiday" that happened to be Columbus day. Cost an extra $93. Charges for visit were high but typical. The good doctor listened to me and held off of doing all of the suggested test and did only what was absolutely needed.

I cannot speak highly enough of the vets here at Northpointe. We’ve taken many of our animals here over the years, but recent experiences were big positives in an otherwise difficult time as our dog passed. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and most of all caring. We had a horrible experience when we had to take our dog to a larger hospital for specialty care that wasn’t available here. In the end, we returned to Northpointe instead of transferring care to Marqueen in Roseville. We received a more complete prognosis at Northpointe, and it prevented us sinking additional thousands of dollars to arrive at the same conclusion through extra unnecessary steps requested by Marqueen.I highly recommend Northpointe for your animals. I can’t imagine how much more difficult this could have been, emotionally and financially, had we finished care elsewhere.

The biggest scam is this vet hospital! Do not bring your loved pet here ! They will up charge and do things without any proper DX. They will make up things and show another pets X-rays to trick you. They will try to ask for 90$ exam fee if you need a simple rabies booster. F*ck this place. Go somewhere else. Or go ahead learn the hard way pay 1800-1900$ extra on an simple tooth extraction. They quoted me 1750 after the surgery they wanted 2900$. 29 fu*king hundred. Of course you have to pay or you risk losing your loved family pet. These people are the biggest scam to Sutter County.AND NOT FOR ONE SECOND I trust any positive review there must be family members, shareholders, or people that work there, if you're a real pet lover, you understand the scam and the robbing of these people do fuck double they charge you triple for nothing they scare you and act like your animal is really dying they do not care they kept my dog for 16 hours for a tooth extraction. The dumb veterinarian wanted to charge an extra $450 for another x-ray that they messed up on

This place has absolutely zero compassion for pets. Our sweet dog of 14 years was on her last leg today and suffering. We called this poor excuse for a veterinarian hospital to bring her in. When we arrived, the vet tech or secretary at the front desk was completely useless. Not only did she not consider the comfort of our family member a priority, but she insinuated our dog was completely fine. Our beloved dog passed an hour later. This place is a disgrace!

This is the worst experience I've had for my cat ever. I've been to vetco for wellness exams multiple times for my cat and after moving I started taking her to this location. They make you wait after asking basic questions about your cat. The vets there give no answers to any concerns you have and don't bother to even do bloodwork or any other tests. It's extremely frustrating to spend 80 dollars on a useless exam every single time. I'm done going here. If you want vets who will spend time figuring things out for your pet, please go anywhere else. I'm going to take the hour drive to vetco because of how useless the vets are here.

Thank you for seeing us on short notice! Poor Doc was not feeling well at all. Sorry for the mess. You all are the best. You treat our babies as they are your own. Thank you!

NVH always takes the time to explain the what and why of prescribed meds and how they will benefit your family pet members. Very compassionate and family friendly. Thank you to drs and staff.

Front desk was okay, tech Rose and Dr Calvert (hope I spelled that correctly) were great. The office was clean and quiet. It was empty when we got there, people who cane in after us were brought in quickly and efficiently.

I take all my pets here. They're reasonably priced, and my dogs like it there . The waiting room is spacious and clean, and is inviting....staff is usually knowledgeable and friendly. Unless anything changes, il continue to bring my cats and dogs here

You became a vet knowing that dogs don't have money yet you charge even if it's only advice that would have saved a dog life .but I needed 75 dollars just to ask a life saving question. Shame on you

Terrible place, my little dog Canelo dog was attacked by two pitbulls ,I brought him for emergency surgery, he had the surgery he got stitched up dent home with meds, with all the trauma and injuries to my dog , they sent us home with antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds, he was in so much pain and trauma, I started to see my dog in so much pain I called Northpoint they were closed, Northpoint phone says to contact a vet in Roseville for after hours, but we didn't have a way to the hospital, they asked dr. what meds they prescribed, they ask what pain meds he was on, I explained they only gave me anti-inflammatory and antibiotics, they said with all the trauma and injuries he should have been given pain meds, I writing this with so much grief and sadness to see our family baby die in front of us because of trauma, I asked if he was in danger of dying or anything, no , they just said he'd be fine in two weeks , my problem with Northpoint is why in heaven sake didn't you prescribed pain meds after such extreme trauma and pain, that's like saying in a hospital, let give you surgery and no pain meds for recovery, this so wrong, I don't know what to do or say,There's no excuse. You are a medical facility, if a patient is that bad by all means show some humanity, People think real hard of your dog or animal is in life or death trauma, Do Not Bring him to Northpoint! My family is devastated, thing could be avoided ? ?Please please people, stand up to greed, if it was a money thing why didn't you say this could have been avoided, all my viewers chime in if you have pets that are your familyNEVER LET THIS HAPPEN AGAIN"CANEO" RIP our baby ?????

Wonderful staff always friendly and professional while providing excellent care for our Dogs. I was trying to save $$ by going to a less expensive animal hospital huge mistake. They barely acknowledged us. You get what you pay for. Northpointe will remain our first choice. Knowledgeable, kind and treat the people as kindly as the pets. 5 stars easily!

I have been coming here for a couple years now, and love the staff and veterinarians here! Dr.Birmingham helped me through a tough diagnosis with my dog, and was even kind enough to offer to do his euthanasia at my home. She is truly an animal lover, and I'm so grateful for her!!
