There is no ATM here. I needed a credit union ATM while passing through town, so as to make a standard (and fee-free) Co-Op Network cash withdrawal from my own credit union. I've been banking since 1985; this is the first time since the early 1990s, that I've encountered an institution with signs, advertising, a staffed counter... and yet, no ATM. Just bizarre on its face. And not only was it a waste of my time to drive here? When I went inside and (politely/pleasantly) asked one of the tellers where the ATM was, she looked at me like I had a horn growing out of my head--I was reminded of the scene in 'Groundhog Day' when Bill Murray asks the bed & breakfast manager about hot water and she giggles, "Oh, there wouldn't be any today!"
