Hello ! I don’t know this rescue , but I’m responding to a negative review that I was reading to get research on this rescue. A lady complained how strict this rescue’s placement was, and how the rescue wanted to see the inside of her home and where the dog would be living.. I love this review because this rescue is making sure these animals are safe. I found a dog that needs a great home and is an expensive breed and I will be trying to see if this rescue could help me. And by reading this review it has brought me great positive joy that I might find this dog a great home. Never thought reading a negative review would make me so happy. I want to thank this rescue. sounds like it’s very professional. And doing right verses easy Ty

03/2024 They are great with the animals as far as I know BUT the adoption process seems too much and sketchy! Why in the world would I let them in my home to "check if it's safe"? how do I know they're not just coming in to case the place for a future break in?!
It used to be that you found an animal you got along well with, then showed the animal adoption organization your ID, filled a form with your information, paid a reasonable adoption fee, they gave you a simple collar with leash, some pamphlets on pet care, and you were on your way with your new fur baby! The most they'd do is call you later on to check on the fur baby. I'd even be fine sending pics or bringing the fur baby back in just to visit them as proof it's happy and healthy.
But invading my private home? No thank you. This organization probably already lost and will continue losing a lot of families and people that WOULD'VE saved some fur babies.

They only take cats from nearby animal control centers not from local residents, even when feral cats are a problem

I found my best friend through resqpaws. This is an amazing organization. Mochi is the most energetic, happy, and funny dog ever. I'm so glad to have her in my life :)

Thank you for getting back to us with your phone call in less than 24 hours. Potential parents really appreciate the simple things. Other rescues in the area are less than friendly. Finding and rescuing the right dog shouldn't be like buying a couch online.
