Beautiful store but went to use the restroom, only to find a no toilet paper dispenser, no seat covers, no toilet paper and it looked people are using paper towels, wetting them and wiping themselves, then throwing it on the floor. Do better Vons cause that's disgusting

They have some of the rudest employees there. The new self-checkout lanes are problematic and overly sensitive. It also randomly decides certain items like habanero peppers have to be "approved" by staff and prevented us from finishing payment and leaving. Yesterday 2/22 we waited well over 5 minutes with our ice cream melting while staff ignored us. When we finally nicely asked for assistance the middle aged brunette lady cashier on the lane closest to the self-checkout had the audacity to YELL at us and have a lot of attitude towards us when it's this store's ridiculous policies and big brother machinery that are to blame. We rang it up perfectly but these machines assume everyone is a thief, and the employees have a lot of attitude about assisting customers who are being assumed to be stealing. Never seen such over the top surveillance on self-checkout. If I wanted to steal from Vons they would never know about it. I come here all the time but will probably shop elsewhere and avoid their rude, lazy employees from now on.

Careful when doing store pickups at this place . I made a mistake and did a pick up order here and the person that was going to give me my groceries did not cancel my order and was very rude to me. They never gave me a refund . And their customer service center overseas lies they never handle your issues with the app or the pickups.

I picked up a cake at the last minute and they were able to write what I wanted on it in about 5 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised at how speedy they were, despite that they were busy. The cake was decorated very 4th of July festive and tasted good, too.

Multiple times I'm talking 5 or 6 times now I've ordered groceries all of the produce has the ripe stickers and already gone bad literally avocados black on the inside same day my groceries are delivered and bruised tomatoes etc. They're mostly late with delivery and pick up. Can never reach anyone to see what's going on. Update: I order just last night for delivery and they did it again

I would like for everyone to know that everyone one in the deli that I have had the pleasure of meeting since I've been a customer at Vons that all the members that have helped me in the deli are kind hard-working people and although they're shorthanded 90% of the time they always have smiles on their face they're always willing to help and I would like to show my appreciation by saying the deli atVons in Yucaipa rock they're strong they know how to meet the customers needs . I remember there a few years back the service was not great and I would only go to the deli if I was desperate. But now the women that are there . Are so kind and so helpful I love going there now those women deserve respect and a raise there always short handed on help but yet there always smiling and willing to help customers. A big thank you for all you guys do.

I do not recommend going 5 minutes before closing time. Out of the four employees that where standing there including a manger they made it known that they where mad. It was very uncomfortable and felt they didn't even want my business. Last I checked you close at 11pm and then you close not 5 mins until then. Poor customer service.

Ordered a birthday cake for my nine year old. The cake was ordered over a week in advance. At the time of our order, the two ladies discussed the computer not working. They said that it should be fixed within a few days, meaning well in advance of when we needed the cake. They never said anything to me, just spoke about it with each other. I called 3 days before pick up and was assured that the cake would be made (with a slight attitude). I got a call from the cake decorator that the computer was not working and the toys that go on the cake were also not available on the pick up day. She did her best by hand. My husband spoke with them and one of the ladies implied they had told me all this when I called. They had not! Otherwise I would have asked them to discount the cake and I would have brought in some toys for the top. The cake decorating was very cute, the taste and poor customer service has now sent us somewhere else for business.

I have a problem when I go and patronize a business and not one employee can acknowledge you. I was in at 9:30 tonight and apparently was in the way of the broom girl sweeping and obviously in her way by the way she rolled her eyes. What really got me was when I approached the check out (same rude girl who works the late shift), she was talking with the girl bagging groceries and also the male supervisor. Not one word was spoken to me until she told me my total. I was charged for bags which of course since no one could bother to stop there conversation to offer customer service to see if in fact I wanted to purchase them, had already bagged the groceries. I do believe the night supervisor did mumble "hows your night going" and this was as I was putting my card in to pay for my groceries. I guess customer service is almost extinct. I'll be going to Walmart or Aldi's. Not only are they politer but at least I'm not paying ridiculously high prices for groceries.

Just left there shortly. One of the bagger, young kid with glasses seemed to need a little training with customer service. Maybe he doesn't like his job, but was not very polite.

Drive up and go service is a hard hit or a hard miss. I recently had a baby and this is my only option with my babies at the moment. Obviously with this service you are trusting who ever does your shopping for you has your best interest in mind. And almost every other time I pick up, my produce is bad. Ive opened moldy mushrooms and berries l, bruised apples and on one occasion, my melon actually had a hole in it with mold. Clearly smelled bad as soon as I drove off. But with babies, I can't just turn around and go into the store. Ive had my rotisserie chicken forgotten on more than one occasion and have been called to replace items that I know the store carries. Yesterday, I got a call saying they had no more Parmesan cheese? Just the packed kind. Really? It's bizarre to me and a waste of my time and money. Ive throw out so much produce for it being bad or picked with days prior expiration dates. I'll be shopping elsewhere.

We made an order through Insta cart for seafood, and the person working the seafood counter packaged and sold us bad Jonah Crab Claws that smelled of deterioration and decay when we received them. This is really concerning, and confusing because how can you literally not notice such a bad smell if you're someone who works in that part of the grocery store. I called and asked the meat department how to handle returns for bad food. The person that packaged our food just so happened to answer. While his instructions were fine, his nonchalant "sorry about that" seems very impersonal and carefree despite the serious illness that comes with seafood poisoning. When I arrived to return the rotting seafood, Mikayla was very helpful. She processed a full refund and a $15 gift card. However, the supervisor on the floor, Jonathan, was not concerned with the risks of selling bad food, similar to the guy who packaged it. He didn't even look at me, but did acknowledge the possibility of food poisoning with "sorry" when Mikayla requested a supervisor's approval for the gift card. Overall, I am concerned with few things. How long had the seafood been sitting there, like why wasn't it checked? Is this typical for other bad seafood to go unchecked? Is it normal for Vons supervisors to not care about serious issues like this?

This store is my favorite! Clean, kind, happy, helpful staff. My faves are Deb in deli, always gets it perfect. Kiki & Cheryl are just the best & so helpful and patient even when I'm having trouble with my vons app, I always go to their lines.
