Where do I start? A couple of weeks ago I called to make an appointment for an eye exam as a number of people have said nice things about how they were treated. I am a strong believer of support local. They answered the phone and have been very nice from the jump. My eye exam experience was great as the doctor was honest with me from the very beginning. He was very respectful to my concerns and that matters a lot. My teenage daughter was here years ago and she also said the same thing. I thought after the eye exam that picking out frames was going to be a struggle, but proved to be painless and simple. The people here do care and are very friendly. The day after I called and had some follow up questions and concerns about my choice for lenses. I once again was shown they do care as they took the time to explain things to address my new concerns. That is a rare quality these days.. I will post update when I receive my glasses..Thank You.. You earned my trust and business for the future..

I took my 10 yr old here for the first time yesterday. I have to say the Dr and the staff were absolutely amazing! The Dr asked my daughter every question that he needed to know and also spent about 15 minutes helping her pick out frames. I liked the fact that he didn't ask me anything, only her. She felt she was able to speak for herself. The staff there were so friendly, welcoming, and professional. It was an awesome experience here. We left very happy with their customer service. Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you, Dr. and staff!

Dr. Van Dusen and the whole team are so wonderful and patient. My 3.5 year old had her first eye check up. Dr. Van Dusen was so calm and supportive. He let her feel in control and talked her through every step of the exam. The staff let her try on a bunch of glasses until she got exactly what she wanted. Very kind and helpful staff.

I love this place so much, I've been coming here since I was a teenager, almost 7 years. I've always been helped and had super friendly staff, I love the Australian lady. Dr. Van Dusen is awesome, I've had the experience of seeing help others and volunteer his time to assist people without access to glasses. I have a lot of respect for him.Broke my glasses again and I'm looking forward to coming in and trying to change styles! Always super helpful.

It's been 2 months my daughter's been waiting for her glasses. Nothing but excuses at this place. I let them know I needed them asap at the beginning. After seeing my daughter suffer for 2 months I went to Walmart on Friday with the prescription and the new glasses are in this morning. 4 day turn at Walmart. Still waiting for the pair we ordered here.

I just got back from a routine prescription update visit, and everything was great: the front desk employees were helpful and nice; everything was thoroughly explained in terms of insurance coverage and/or additional costs.As for Dr. Van Busen himself, he was courteous, informative, and thorough in his examination of my eyes. Everything about my prescription upgrade and other optical issues were explained very well to a layman like myself.I highly recommend this office to anyone in the area.

When I went to him he couldn't get my prescription right. My glasses had gotten so scratched they didn't help me discern it..He sent me home to try another day. 2nd time to his office, he explained that my vision could not be corrected any further. That it just wasn't going to ever be perfect.Today, had an eye exam. Learned thats not true. Eye dr said my vision has changed a lot from where my glasses are at. No, no. They havent. Its because dr Van Dussen gave me a faulty diagnosis.He didn't even come close. Told me I was stuck with poor vision that glasses would not fully fix it & I had to accept it.He compromised my sense of wellbeing. Its frustrating thinking you're just trapped with failing vision and you're only in your 40s.Maybe its just time to retire Dr. Van Dussen.

My husband and I went together. Dr dilated both our eyes. Couldn't see to even drive. No warning prior to appt. When I complained at our next visit, we were told he does that routinely with all pts. We had a full day on our agenda but not after that! Our day was over! Glasses selection was small. I went elsewhere for my glasses. I wasn't going to settle for what she thought looked good on me. Poor reviews on staff are accurate.Also, took our granddaughter there. Dr told her glasses will help her to see the text messages from her boyfriend better. What?! She was 11! He then proceeded to tell her a story about walking in on his daughters slumber party and how they talked about boys. She looked at him and said "I don't have a phone or a boyfriend." So creepy.

I had a such a great experience here. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and accommodating to be seen as soon as possible. Dr was super funny and that helped eased my nerves. When picking out my glasses, the manager helped me herself. She helped me pick out some glasses that she told me would compliment my facial features, and I love them! I get so many compliments on them. Overall it was a great experience!

Severely lacking in customer service. The front desk girl is rude!! Time to re-evaluate who is representing your business on the phone and as the first point of contact. She acts like she is doing you a favor just by doing her job.
