While visiting a unique coffee shop not too far from this location, decided to drop by. My wife had knowledge of local orchards nearby and landed here.We were welcomed by owners or staff upon entering.Note: We were just curious and had not ever been.Really cozy and country style vibe inside. The staff immediately offered us there mini apples shown in photo.I didn't expect such hospitality and went about exploring their establishment. We had seen their signs outside about home made preserves and jams.Once done viewing the historic relics and gifts we proceeded towards their back wall of preserves which they informed us that there were 200 + varieties. One of the ladies offered us samples of our choice. My gosh there was so many preserves and the samples were amazing. My wife got their Boysenberry Preserves, I got their Blueberry butter. To my surprise they had mustards there as well.Sample was given and I couldn't believe my taste buds exploding as I began to savor this unique flavor.Course Guinness Mustard is a must if you enjoy mustard. The lady suggested to put it on Brat Wursts."Oh we have some at home" I replied and I cannot wait to have that.So please if you are in the area and are just up the street, put this as a place to go in Google maps and head over there and check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed with your visit!Place was clean, organized, and most definitely service was friendly and welcoming. They were the nicest people and we will come back for more selections of their home made preserves!10 stars ⭐ hands down!Well done 'Mom's Country Orchards' ?? ?

The owners are so incredibly kind, it brought to mind southern hospitality. You can tell they truly love their craft and love sharing it with the world! They give out free samples of apple slices as you walk around the shop & explore their vast array of Knick knacks and huge assortment of jellies and jams. They also let you sample any of the jellies before you buy. I came for their famous apple butter I read about online umm idk why I thought it would be like the apple butter and bread you get at Lucille's BBQ but it was more like applesauce. It was still good it just wasn't what I was expecting / hoping for. I ended up leaving with an apple cider ice pop. It was delicious and so simple, reminded me when we'd freeze random juices in my childhood.

It’s everything you’d expect to find in an apple orchard store. Plenty of jams and other fruit preserves to choose from. Many made on site.

Apples are delicious. Their website says they are "pesticide-free" (does not say "organic"), but it says nothing about the use of herbicides. I failed to ask, but would like to know.

They were very friendly, and gave us samples of apples that we were interested in. We really like the King Davids, and took a bag of them. I told the lady that I'm picky about eating my apples, as I do not like apples that have blemishes or bruises, etc. The woman picked out another bag; one that looked better that the one we were going to buy. I have mixed feelings about the quality of the apples we purchased. So far, although the flavor is fine, two out of three have not been crisp, like the one we tried in the store. And they also have "Watercore." See the pictures. I looked this up, watercore indicates an older apple, although it's safe to eat, and it's preferred if you want to ferment your apples for hard cider. There you have it. :)

If you’re a jam lover look no further! They have a massive wall full of different types of Jam, butters and more!Amazing staff that allows you to taste and sample all of the jams and honey. Very cool to taste different types of honey and learn about where it’s harvested.A lot of parking out front and store is located on the corner around a bend.Worth stopping by even if you don’t intend on buying goods.

I sit here today enjoying the most beautiful day both enriched by the weather and the warmth of the people here. No matter where you turn, you will only find nice and friendly people here be they employees or fellow customers. You will be hard pressed to find a better day trip than a visit to Moms Country Orchards and the rest of Oak Glen.

We've included this store in our oak Glen trips since we came one day in the middle of the week and Moms was the only place open. They have pretty much everything from fresh apples, other fruits and vegetables to eggs, apple cider, candles etc. All the produce and eggs are organic. The only thing they don't have is lunch lol! The ladies are nice, giving free samples of apples. We even met the owner who has stories of the history of their apples etc. Altogether the best place in Oak Glen.
