You would never imagine that a yoga studio of this New York/LA level would be all the way out here in the desert, but it is! The owners Tobi and Sabrina are THE BEST. Teachers are rocking great music too. (Love me a Shannon Dixon playlist. ) if you're not in the habit of going to yoga yet and you want to be, this place is very habit-forming. Enjoyyyyyyy!!!

Great studio located in old town YV. Teachers are excellent and the variety of options including sweaty asana yoga but much beyond it make it perfect. Kind and welcoming community.

People looking to re-center, reaffirm and recognize your true magnificence should absolutely book Lisa's Kundalini soundbath experience. Begin your transformation in the waves of her soothing soundbowls. You will not regret it! ??♥️

Best yoga studio I have been to! I have yet to find a studio in any large city that is even remotely similar to this one. I took 3 classes and all the teachers where awesome. Very welcoming teachers, students, and studio owner. The studio is comfortable and spacious. I always appreciate when yoga asana (poses) bring in additional limbs of ashtanga yoga. If I could I would take this studio everywhere with me. ?

This place is my oasis in the desert ALL the teachers are incredible. And the two, bad reviews left here are in my opinion laughable. Would recommend cedar and sage to anyone its a very calm and welcoming environment and I'm so grateful for its existence!

Hands down the best instructors and yoga community in Joshua Tree ? No need to look any further, this is the one. Sound Baths, Power Yoga, Barre, Yin Yoga and most are 75min!

I had an amazing time last night at the Winter Solstice Yoga and Sound Bath. Just what I need to go into winter. The yoga was gentle and a great way to stretch out and prepare for the sound bath. I also really enjoyed the breathing exercise. The cherry on top was ending the evening standing in a Tibetan bowl and grounding that energy. I will definitely be going back for another Solstice event.

My sister and I are visiting from NY and came here for hot yoga + sound bath. We both had one of the best experiences in a yoga class that we’ve ever had. We left feeling invigorated yet balanced. Highly recommend!

Had reached out and left word on a Friday, got a text back from the owner that afternoon that she was taking the day off for personal reasons (attending a funeral), and she offered to set up a window to speak the following day. I also expressed heartfelt condolences and she sent back hearts and emojis in her text saying "let's try for tomorrow 3-6". Called twice during this window leaving voicemail; no response either by text or call. Texted and as of yet still not even an acknowledgement. As it's now been four days since I initially reached out, and lack of any communication 4 days later, assuming that this business at the moment is somewhat unreliable, that the owner is off the grid at the moment, and based on several other reviews here reflecting exact same flakiness, honoring new customers inquiries and biz... is not a priority. Hopefully all are safe and well. Thank you.

Stopped in for the Kundalini practice on Sunday; it was truly otherworldly. Definitely a special experience! Everyone was warm and inviting, the space is gorgeous and the practice was magickal. I got this cute little mushroom with a crystal that the owner made!

I cannot speak to the classes at Cedar and Sage but I can speak to the fact that I left them a message weeks ago because I was really interested in attending classes there. It was a very specific message with my contact information and questions related to what they were doing in terms of Covid safety since none of that information could be found on their website. I still have not heard a word back from them so it seems that they are not interested in 1) having new students...that are local or 2) in giving students the ability to make informed decisions regarding their health. I guess I'll never know which one since they never called back but I have been practicing Yoga for 20 years now in many studios all over the country and this is a first for me when it comes to a studio being completely unresponsive to an inquiry. Not very "Yogic" in my book.
