Dear FerrellgasYou want to hear what I thing? Well I’m not happy with you right now. I try to order a gas delivery for our only twice a year delivery area. Last spring I got from you 325 gallons, to top off my 500gallons tank as last winter was murder, and we got snowed in with some 17°F temps. Anyway this summer was a scorcher with 117°F, so I only used 125 gallons. When I try to place my order I was told that I would be penalized $75 if I did not order a minimum of 200 gallons. However my neighbors who owned smaller tanks will not be penalized if they order less than 200 gallons. I think it is unethical to penalize the few ot us that use the most because we are full time residents. I only have 275 gallons in my tank now, and I will surely run out of gas before your next scheduled delivery in April. Our delivery as been scheduled for our canyon on October 16th, I sincerely hope your positive answer to waive the penalty come before I can order my gas.SincerelyDidier Chevalier48452 Burns Canyon RoadPioneertown, CA 92268Customer # 112742402Update: I was contacted by Ferrellgas and the issue was fixed. On my last order I asked for a fill and what i received was a partial. That means i now have to get a fill again which means i have to get a fill sooner. That means i have to get a fill more often which means i have to pay your hazmat fees more often which means i am spending more than i should have to.

Ordered a fill on 4/24 and on 5/3 still no delivery. Delivery was supposed to come on 5/1 and they’re saying because of a computer outage I was never notified that they had to reschedule nothing I stayed home all day thinking I was going to get a fill on the first and no nothing now I’m calling and they’re telling me I will let you know when we can come now you have my $472 you guys need to give me my fill today.Unreliable. I was told I would be called by the end of business day with a delivery date. No call. They still have my money though. The only part that still works perfect when the “system is down” is the taking of the customer’s money. That part of “the system” ALWAYS works perfectly.

This will be the third day that I have stayed home ALL DAY waiting for delivery. They have changed the delivery day Twice on me and have had my money for two weeks, blaming the "system being down" Seems like the system being down doesn't keep them from getting the money from the customer though. That part always works perfectly

Truly the worst service. They over charge and have never once delivered on time even when I've requested expedited service. At this point I actually add a week or two to the day they tell me because they are so consistently late with their delivery. Would strongly suggest finding another provider in town.

Called in because I did not know that my tank was EMPTY. It's cold. I was told it would take up to two weeks for a delivery because there was a propane shortage. Shockingly, Joe showed up the NEXT day to fill my tank and I now have heat.

Horrible customer service! I asked them to fill my tank and they told me it would take maybe a week, week passes I call again, they say they'll try in a few days, nothing. Finally I say, my tank is literally empty, I have tennants in the house and I really don't want them to run out. Finally this nice woman says, "you are on the route today, they will fill the tank." Then a few days later, my tenant calls to say the stove doesn't work. So they never came by to fill the tank and it literally went empty. My tenant had to wait a day for them to really come by. I switched to a local propane company and will soon replace all gas in my house and go heat pump for heating/cooling, heat pump water heating and induction electric stove. I'm over supporting fossil fuel companies that are way more expensive then being all electric!

I rent my place as a short term rental so frequently have guests. The tank is on auto-fill and I realized it was dangerously low, I called Ferrellgas to fill it and they said they couldn't come for a few weeks, but I said I'd run out so they said they'd try to come by. After a week I called back to say the needle was really at 0 and I need a refill now. They said they'd come by within a few days, but didn't. I call back again and the woman promised me that they would come by that day and I was on their route. I had a guest in the house so couldn't verify if they came by. My guest said they hadn't seen anyone but weren't around in the evening, so I called the people at Ferrell gas and she said, they probably came by to fill the tank. So I was under the assumption that I got filled. Then a day or two later the gas ran out. They hadn't filled my tank when I was assured I was on their route that day!!!! Finally they came by only after the gas ran out on my guest leaving them without gas for half a day. This is after days and days of asking for a fill. I am so over Ferrell gas, I'm definitely not paying my bill! I will use another company next fill and in the next few years, plan on moving my house to all electric because gas is so expensive and bad for the environment. Heat pumps are better for heating the house and water anyway and induction stoves are better than gas. I'm over Ferrellgas and gas in general!

Here is my impression of this company. They do not care about people. They do care however about money. We gave them hundreds of dollars and they told us it would be 2 weeks before they would be out. This is because they wanted more money to come out sooner .... in which we would not give them. So a few days later they showed up at 6 am. Only to not be able to get us hot water after all as he didn't bother to read the directions on the water tank and would not light it ...... but at least we got propane. Not sure what else i can say about this company but I will be glad to get rid of them. Completely unprofessional.....

I’m beginning to think this company is bankrupt and has no propane. Read the reviews and I am experiencing the same frustrations. First I’d like to point out that the technicians who do come out to the house are professional and courteous. The representatives now are pushed out via trunk line and when you call it is never a representative in Yucca Valley. The last person I spoke with was Cindy an out-of-state rep because I did not get the propane fill I was promised by Naomi today. No one showed. Wish I could say I was surprised! I have been trying to get a fill since December 14 and was promised I fill by December 28. It is now January 18 and I have no propane. It is winter so no heat, no hot water, no clean clothes. I too have already pay the exorbitant amounts that is charged for propane gas. Unacceptable and unbelievable! Research other companies before doing business with Ferrellgas. Next move I am reporting to the public utilities commission PUC, ADA, AND BBB.

Multiple dates for delivery and no show no call!!! Agents hang up when you ask for a date or a supervisor. Agents blame scheduler local office blames low staff or the weather. Just an FYI get your stories straight so at least you can give the same response-Ferrell

If I could give the rating no stars I would. We have been waiting over a month for propane. I called them every day for a week and the kept saying they would be there that day and never show, call the next day and they would say the same thing.... a month later still no propane. We have already paid (because you have to) & just to through it out there, we live in yucca in western hills so its not like they are taking a journey anywhere crazy! Worst company- I would never recommend! Look else where.
