I canceceled the Amerilock program on my account in June 2023, well within my rights to cancel within 30 days. I’ve called 5 times since June, each time speaking to your people who assure me it has been canceled, emailed to be contacted by you with no response from you, I still have a past due bill on my account for $106. I’m getting past due notices. I’ve been fighting this for 3 months now and my next step is to cancel my account with you and switch to another propane company.

Good short time to wait for arrival, 2 days. But I had 30% propane in tank and wanted to have tank filled to 80.... They only filled to 70%. I wonder if that is the maximimum allowed?

Local delivery service is fine. Ever since G&K sold to AmeriGas---impossible to communicate with the company by phone.

At first I was nervous because it took multiple calls to get service started. But now that is started its absolutely wonderful. I am satisfied with the current service.

It has been a frustrating experience dealing with customer support and getting anything done with Amerigas. I am not sure if this is a problem with the people or the system but I usually have to call Lynn multiple times on an issue to get the request to be looked at. I have been trying to dispute a false bill for several months now and have probably called in over 20 times to get this resolved. Each time the representative will tell me that this will get taken care of and it never does. I will be looking for another provider soon.

Worst customer service ever experienced in my life. I got so fed up with them I completely cancelled my account and had them remove the tank. I now work with high desert propane and they are so much better. Don’t work with them!!! They are the worst.

Do not use them. The reviews here show it and so do the cut and paste replies they post here. Short review: my tank has needed a critical repair for a month and they haven't sent anyone, they have the worst phone customer service I have ever encountered and they enegage in price gouging (inflation/supply isn't an excuse - you can see the market value of propane in the area - their markup is insane).Details: the phone customer service is the worst I've ever encountered.The phone connections they have are bad, the customer service reps cannot communicate well. This is every time I call.It takes several calls to get an appointment, and then it's a no-show for the delivery, and you have to call back (then they tell you that you never had an appointment).Right now, I need a critical tank repair (I lease the tank from them) and have called twice. The first time, I was told I had an appointment and no kne showed. The second time, the rep said someone would call me to book an appointment, and they still haven't called. It's been a month.I will be changing providers ASAP.

I have cancelled my service due to the high cost and the poor service. I am a business owner with a hotel, when the company was G&K they were very good at monitoring and filling our tanks. Then we were finding empty tanks and guests with no hot water. Not ok in my business.

I called the company around 9am and they had someone out really quick. They looked for a leak and filled up the propane tank. The technician was done by 11am. The lady I talked to on the phone was also excellent, funny, and knowledgeable. I’m super grateful for all the help!

Even though we were on automatic fill, we ran out of propane. A very long call to the AmeriGas call center eventually ended with a promise our tank would be filled within 24 hours. Of course, it was not filled within 24 hours. We subsequently went with another propane provider.

I keep getting a bill plus late on a payment that was taken from my bank account before I received my propane. I've called several times on this matter, only for the call to get dropped after being put on hold for several minutes. And NEVER GET A CL BACK ?

G&K was bought out by AmeriGas so the current decent star rating must be leftover from the pre-AmeriGas since AmeriGas deserves negative stars. If you want a more accurate idea of what their service is like, check other rating/review sites and their social media presence where you’ll read lots of angry comments from customers.My issue with AmeriGas is that they always exceed their estimated delivery window (which is usually one or two weeks) and it’s impossible to get an updated delivery estimate from the gleefully unhelpful outsourced-call-center customer service agent. There’s no way to connect with anyone local and the three agents I’ve spoken with so far have either been polite but given me wrong info or have been enthusiastically difficult and given me no info of any worth.G&K might have been a great local company but AmeriGas is a malevolent clown college. “You’ll get a refill before you run out entirely” is not an estimated delivery date (and, from the many complaints I’m reading online, might not even be accurate). If you value reliability, peace, and warmth, choose one of AmeriGas’s truly local competitors.
