Tough case of BUYER BEWARE. Really mixed feelings about this store. The positives are it has a fantastic mix of items..new, vintage, eclectic...clothing, pottery, rugs, artwork, books, decor and more. The three people working we encountered were very kind, easy to talk to, and just cool people. On my first trip in I purchased a book and another item. Already halfway through the book in a couple days, I decided to return to buy another book by the same author. On the second trip I found two cactus sculptures I loved. Which brings me to the downside...pricing. Pay attention to what your buying and DEFINITELY CHECK PRICING on line before you buy. I bought one of two they had on display together. I bought the taller one at $90. The shorter one was $70. That evening, regretting I didn't purchase both, I used Google lens to see if I could find it closer to home or online as we were leaving town before the store opened. I found the identical set at three locations online...Home Depot, Amazon and Tractor Supply for no more than $45 for the set. Is it my fault for not checking prices before I let my excitement get a hold of me? Yes. Is the store guilty of price gouging to the tune of four times the amount on an item than can currently be found elsewhere? Absolutely. If I was staying long enough to return it I absolutely would. Do I think the store is worth a stop in? Yes. Just be sure you're not severely overpaying for the treasure you find.

Progressive, Fashionable, Distinctively Yucca Valley!I had a terrific experience at MFTP today. The selection of clothing was top notch and I purchased a shirt from Totally Blown. My sales person was non-binary. I 100% support all expressions of gender and the human form. And the sales human could not have been better at their job! So very helpful! This is a must see store in Yucca Valley. i am excited to check out the sister location in Palm Springs.

Very cute and wide variety of items. The items are a bit on the pricier side, but if you are looking for a high-quality gift while in the area, this place will definitely have what you are looking for.

Offensively overpriced throughout - which appears to be a management policy. Though based on the principle of supporting local artisans, it's inaccessible if not repugnant to the majority of full-time high desert dwellers. The over aestheticized appearance of the place typifies an elitism and hypocrisy at its core

I go here anytime I want to get local & handmade gifts. The staff is really friendly too. I love the rotating art shows. Something in every corner, every time makes me look forward to coming back!

Has nothing to do at all with a flea market. Has a lot of beautiful and very expensive things. I would suggest taking flea out of the name so that people's expectations match their experience.

Not greeted well the first visit, but had a great staff experience the second. Lots of vendors with some incredible finds inside. Scored some souvenirs!

This desert gem is just that– so beautiful and chock full of tons of amazing goods from local artisans. I was traveling from out of the area, so I'm always looking for unique souvenirs & gifts to take home, and I definitely found some goodies here. The employees were also the sweetest, and I can't wait to visit again next time I'm in the Yucca Valley!

This place was really cute and had some really nice vintage clothing and knickknacks! The workers are really friendly and the store has an overall nice atmosphere. I will say some of the vintage pieces seem a bit over priced but I felt wasn’t the majority. Loved it and got some cool items!

Over priced hipster vintage trash if you shop at this store your the type of person who thinks mayonnaise is spicy, your the type of person refuses to use salt and pepper on anything while you cook.

Good selection of work by local artists and small businesses. Browsed for a while and ending up getting a candle, deck of affirmation cards, and an amethyst stone for myself. Lots of cool and unique items that could be souvenirs.

INCREDIBLE place to shop. The service was outstanding and so helpful. Try not to get too overwhelmed, there is so much to look at and explore. They also have a dressing room for you to try on clothes if need be. I do not live in Joshua Tree but will absolutely come here everything I visit. They have so many trinkets, natural soaps, oils, books, plants, paintings, and fashionable clothes.

Love the Mojave Flea Trading Post in Yucca Valley! They have a great selection of vintage, new, and hand-crafted clothes, hats, books, jewelry, ceramics, art, and housewares. They even have RTH. Don't forget to check out their outdoor space for more great objects and plants. Stop by the next time you are in the High Desert. They are even open everyday!
