Store manager Darrell is great! However, I find this Yucca valley california store to be out of stock quite a bit ,On product and hay. Yesterday their delivery driver left my hay in the dirt on the ground on the outside of my fence. His reasoning was he didn’t have a completely clean passageway. Today they sent another driver named Chad, who told me that he couldn’t not put my hay under a overhead. Note that’s where Tractor Supply been putting it for the last three years. I usually tip the hay driver, $20. I think the store has many issues with drivers and inventory like I was saying, the manager and most of the staff are very nice ,courteous they’re always there to help and to carry your things out to the car for you. But like I was saying they have problem with their hay and their drivers. I once bought alfalfa hay that had Bermuda mixed in it that gave my horse hives. A $350 vet bill. She is allergic to Bermuda.

Tractor Supply in Yucca Valley, CA- I have been shopping there for years- ALWAYS a good experience. Recently, I had a ...TRICKY issue regarding a return of a relatively expensive item, [it was mis-boxed at the manufacturer, no fault whatsoever on the store or staff]. Adrian on the sales floor / warehouse was- EXCELLENT. I, personally, have been in sales and customer service for the better part of 30 years- working primarily for a "Big-Box Membership" type store, all over the US as I was a "floater". I say this because good service should always be expected, but OUTSTANDING SERVICE? That's always to be commended! It rises above!
The quality of a company, can ONLY be as good as the PEOPLE whom are employed there. It goes from the DM, to the Store Managers, and AMs, the supervisors.
LINDSEY! (She is one of the Managers at the Yucca Valley store; WOW!! Talk about "leading by EXAMPLE"- just so impressed. Lindsey was able to handle the return with efficacy and QUICKLY, no messin' about! We were able to get it sorted on the phone, and when I arrived at the store to finalize everything. Lindsey helped me personally, and again- did more than hoped. I am beyond satisfied, and in closing?
I as a consumer don't EVER want "something for nothin'"..., and when Customer Service entails an offer / option that's BETTER that hoped? Yeah- that's the way to be professional, and more! Nice, clean location- too. IF you need (practically anything, lol) visit Store #1768- you'll be glad you did! I was.

I bought a bird feeder from here, back in January. It wasn't built well, and when I finally filled it up and hung up, the cable snapped, and it fell and broke into pieces. I was not happy. I brought the pieces back, and Darrell, the manager, happily replaced it with a similar, but better quality item. It was nice to see that level of care about the customer. I'm happy, and so are the birds.

We inquired about a tool for digging hole for fence post. Lady at the register directed us towards the shovels.. Random customer at the register said it was an auger. Thank you random customer knew more than the worker.

For shipping and receiving. Receiving hours posted on there door starts at 8am, you go inside they say they don’t receive until 9am.
