“When we first came to this area to build our cabin (2017), we decided to open up an account in the Alamosa area. We picked this location based upon the beauty of the building only. When we went in, we were disappointed to find out that they would not open an account for us because we did not have Colorado IDs. This was a hassle as our only bank at that time was Wells Fargo and no branches were in the area. We were forced to go to Pueblo, a 100 miles away. Eventually, we were able to open up an account with our Florida IDs at another Alamosa bank.
Maybe this practice has changed since 2017. The only reason I am giving a 5 star is because of the beautiful building and the friendliness of the staff at that time turning us down.”
