My gosh where do I start... I can't believe this place is getting business. I had high hopes, but was extremely disappointed. We mistakenly opted for the buffet and we all had one plate. My 6 year old gaged at the rice. The beans were very obviously canned, rice was insanely bland, their taquitos were obviously filled with left over mix of meat. I cook Mexican food. I know how inexpensive it is to make it flavorful and delicious. This spot missed the mark. The people were sweet, but wow.. I can't believe how much we spent for that low quality. Please save your money, you'd be better off at Taco Bell

Phenomenal random find after a day hiking the dunes. Very kind and welcoming staff, chef was a delight and took so much pride in his food and recommending various things both on the buffet and menu. Just, an all around pleasant and great atmosphere - with food to die for :)

Passing through and was recommended this place from Sunset Inn front desk. We had the buffet which was amazing. The food was so good, especially the menudo, Mexican style tacos, chili releno, and tres leche. The family that owns this place are amazing God loving people. I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with Martin and talking with him about Mexico. What a special place. I won't go through Alamosa without stopping by here.

We went looking for a memorable restaurant in Alamosa for when traveling in the area. We found a good one! They had a very robust buffet with every Mexican dish you can imagine. The offerings were fresh and quite tasty. The service was impeccable with every staff member pitching in when others were busy. The only bad thing was maybe gaining 5 pounds, but the hike up the great sand dunes helped to burn it off afterwards.

I have never had a bad experience here, the food is always delicious, service is excellent, always clean and neat inside, sometimes it's busy (but never slow) but that's to be expected when you're the best place in town.

The buffet is the best and represents a culinary cultural tour of Mexican food, with a local flavor. Service is good and price is fair. We plan a stop every time in Alamosa.

Ive heard about this restaurant for years, and have always missed the opportunity to eat there while traveling through town. Most buffets typically, at their best, are good/average food quality. This was exceptional food, hot, fresh, and plentiful. The service was impeccable - to the point one of our young group members was unfamiliar with a Mexican steak and wasn't too sure about the sauce and pepper that adorned it when it arrived. He chose not to eat it and also not complain. After the second staff member came and asked him what was wrong, he confessed that he didn't expect the steak to be different than a standard steakhouse steak. They quickly replaced his meal with a fresh cooked, unsmothered steak and a baked potato (something I'm sure wasn't on their menu) to make him happy. Outstanding service!
