“Great value for the price and comfortable beds! Room 206 was very large compared to most hotel rooms. It was clean and the walls are brick—very nice. You also get a free hot breakfast from the little restaurant connected to the check in office. The location is easy access to Great Sand Dunes National Park and easy to walk to restaurants or coffee shops downtown. Highly recommend!”

“Great Location for visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park. The staff was super helpful and accomodating - always friendly and willing to hand out extra towels or ammenities. The common areas were clean and well-maintained with a nice garden courtyard area to hang out in outside, with trees for plenty of shade and picnic tables. When I booked our king suite, I let them know we were celebrating our anniversary. Although I don't know if this is the only king suite they have or if it was special due to our anniversary, but we absolutely love our room. It was 2 stories with a loft for the bedroom and a bathroom upstairs, with a wet bar downstairs in the living area. The only complaint I had was with the breakfast: Other Best Westerns I have stayed at have rotated the main items they serve while this location served the scrambled eggs, microwave sausage and green chili everyday. We also had to ask them to refill items multiple times. Overall, I would still recommend this hotel.”

“We had stayed here 3 different times within 9 days, while my college kids were in town visiting me and we traveled around. Each time we checked in, we had friendly, cheerful staff. This last time the front desk agent remembers be and made sure Ididnt need a pull out like we needed last time. Which we did, she quickly switched our room to the one we had last week. My error on the room type was easily fixed by an attentive employee. Our rooms were very clean each time. I live off grid about 5 min from here, and just might come back when I need a break from the homestead.”
“This is the spot to stay in town. Simple and clean with an old school feel. Sabrina gave me one of her homemade sopapillas when I checked in (it was delicious) and Mindy was very sweet and helpful. Hope to be back! Excellent experience!”
