There is never anyone working the counter. Ever. I've gone there 3 times trying to purchase a PO Box with no success. I understand there are most likely staffing issues, but maybe they could post times that there will actually be counter service.

I decided to take a few moments out of my 'not so busy day'...and write a review on the Alma Colorado Post Office and the wonderful service I was provided by 'RONNIE'! I shipped a package to someone living in Alma which is only 100 miles from where I live/shipped it from....6 days later, it was still not delivered... Due to Covid outbreaks....this small mountain town Post Office has really been suffering due to staffing issues...I get it...do I want to 'complain', NO... it is beyond their control... Ronnie took the time to search and find my package amongst many other packages! It made my day, to know that they had it, and my package wasn't 'missing'! I can now rest assured that my package will be delivered to the recipient very soon. Ronnie is a great employee and asset to the USPS, very upbeat, knowledgable, polite and very hard working. Thank you Ronnie for your great help today.

I’m here during the pick up hours and not a soul to be seen. I know you guys are short staffed but please put the times that an actual human being is there.

Well, I found a worse post office than the Breckenridge office. No one is ever there. They don’t sell stamps. How can this be acceptable? If you’re in the back putting away packages, why is it so hard to open the door and hand me a package that I’ve been waiting days for. Sorry that some of us work and the hours of 12-3 and 1130-1 don’t work for package pick up. Do better. It’s not a hard job.

Not sure it even classified as a star. I called ahead and verified the address my packages were being shipped to... one came back “undeliverable “. The other mysteriously WAS delivered. The lady said she wouldn’t have accepted it because it was ups. Funny UPS has no “ return tracking “ it was last scanned by ALMA PO. The package said it was Starbucks coffee on the outside. Seems to me someone needs to investigate this location of the PO service for theft. I wouldn’t use this location for anything if you are traveling.

Very unhappy with their customer service. After my paid priority mail not been delivered to A VERIFIABLE address, they tell me I have to pay for each time I want them to try to deliver my package to a state office. I had paid priority mail, which if not delivered on time or to a verified address, I should be getting my money back! (This was told to me by a supervisor at the USPS 1800 customer service and I even have an open case on this!). They told me they would help me just one time? They need to refund my money and help me each time it is their fault that a package is not delivered.

This PO is understaffed, and therefore cannot satisfactorily perform the task of daily mail sorting. The hours kept are inconvenient and there is no home delivery. Picking up packages must be done during business hours but they open late close early and are closed at lunch time.

Postmaster Connie is the best! Since I work in Breck, I can NEVER make it to the post office during business hours. I just call her and ask if she can put my package in a lockbox so I can pick it up after hours. I've even had letters mailed to me where money is owed and I will just leave a few coins in my mail box with the yellow slip and she puts the letter in there! The best service considering my friends in Summit have nightmare experiences.

Postmaster Connie has been so helpful to our family for at least the last 10 years, with always a friendly cheerful voice to make sure we receive our mail, packages and phone books. Whenever i have called about a question, she can recite my address before I can say it. I am amazed that she handles so much without assistance. You have a gem here. Cherish her.
