They need to tell their customers that rent the side by sides, to STAY on the trails and to quit tearing the Taylor Valley up with their lack of compassion for nature and future visitors. And pick up your dam trash!!They are ruining this valley sadly

We stayed here in June 2023 and the cabin was rustic but super clean and the beds were super soft and comfy. I would highly recommend staying here, prices are completive and the scenery is awesome. And everyone at the trading post was super friendly. The only minor thing I could find was pulling the boat up to the cabin was a little tight but we got it done. I will defiantly always stay here in the future great place !!!!Rooms: we had a full size fridge with a kitchen and cooking utensils. The beds were soft and super comfortable and the cabin was rustic but clean and really a neat little cabin. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!Nearby activities: great fishing at Taylor Reservoir and Taylor River, endless trails and tons of scenic views.Safety: They have a lot of utvs ,atvs and motorcycles, running in at out of there. They have a 5mph speed limit through the area and seems to be enforced cause everyone keeps them slowed down, through the trading post and cabin areas.

What an amazing spot for a nice family vacation. We stayed in cabin 18 for a couple nights. Plenty of space and we loved the fireplace. Great views!My son left his Nintendo Switch at the cabin, we called and they found it in the couch cushions and shipped it to us. Thank you so much!! Will be staying here again next year. Cabin had bugs and mice. Also needed lots of maintenance. Location was perfect. Trails were well worn.

As my first time in the mountains, this was a great experience, big shout out to Barry and his family for being so welcoming and being more than willing to show us around on the trail ride. My family had an amazing time, and cannot wait for our next trip out there. Thank you so much! My kiddos has a lot of fun playing in the fields finding cool rocks and bones from critters and roasting marshmallows in the campfire.Rooms: Well insulated, was nice and cozy the whole time we stayed.Nearby activities: The quads or 4x4s they rent out allow you to go explore the mountains via trails and if you get Barry to take you, you'll have extra fun, because he knows where all the cool scenery is!Walkability: We stayed in the large cabin atop the hill, the little store being at the bottom of the hill was a bit of a walk but with the view it made it worth it.

Out of our many years of travel and staying at a several different RV parks, this, by far, was recently the worst experience we ever had between the hateful, unwelcoming attitudes of staff and the pages of uninviting rules. This place has gone downhill since last owners. We won’t ever go back unless management changes.

Spectacular views but when you check in and you're read the riot act it's a total turn off. I'm sure they get lots of idiots and a-holes but to assume you're one at check in isn't right!

Everything is overpriced. Gas was over $5.59 gallon. Get whatever you need somewhere else

We stayed in the cabins for 12 days, 2 in cabin 13 (small but very clean) and 10 in cabin 9. Cabin 9 is spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. Marsha does a fantastic job keeping the cabins clean and cozy. I was skeptical after reading a lot of the reviews but the cabins were very clean and stocked with essentials. The manager is super nice, and Marsha kept us in clean linens and towels.The trails are absolutely amazing, this will be an annual trip for our family!Nearby activities: Scenery and trails second to none!

If you plan on going there make sure you read their policies. They could care less what your reason is for canceling. If it’s less than a month in advance, you have to pay for the entire time your reservation was for. Not just the deposit. I understand keeping the deposit but you can’t plan a month in advance for a death in the family. I would never plan on going there again!

The older man in the store behind the counter was very rude. Everything was outrageously over priced. I suggest buying last minute things in Gunnison. The area is beautiful and well worth the drive:)

Very petty business with crazy owners. Cabins are out of date, and restaurant is over priced for the quality of the food. They treat their employees very, very poorly.
