This place is a joke! My girlfriend reached out to ask If they would press a wheel bearing in for us she made it clear the importance of it needing to be done that day and they said no problem bring it by. So I drive across town and make it within 45 mins of calling I go in just to be told they can't do it now because I took too long I remind her it's been less than 45 mins and how important it was to have done today and how much time I've now because they have made me drive clear out here for nothing and they couldn't care less! They have cost me extreme amounts of money and time and would never recommend then as they have don't hesitate to lie and waste your time

UPDATE:
This place scammed me out of 2500!! They did unnecessary work that did not even fix my car. I took it to MIke Shaw Subaru and was about to get the break light switch replaced (which confirmed this place does use after market parts) and that is all I needed.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. They keep your car for longer than they should . They charge dealership prices but use aftermarket parts. Paid them over 2500 back in June and my car is STILL having the same issues. Save your money and take it to the dealership.

Stay away from this place! Shady mechanic, will keep your car for a long time, not communicate & then lie. Don't be a sucker like me & get scammed for a lot of money!

You were unprofessional & dishonest. I know what you did & you know what you did. Congratulations on running a successful scam! You could have run an honest business & had a loyal customer for life to make money off of for years to come, but instead you choose to do shady business for a one time chunk of change. You made your choice, there's no need for me to discuss anything with you. No thanks, I'm not dumb enough to let you cheat me again.

AAmco Arvada on Miller Street has had my Nisson Pathfinder since Feb 2024. It is now end of June 2024. I paid $4500 to get the transmission fixed. It is not fixed! There excuses are , the part didn't come in. The part was bad had to reorder, the test person doesn't come to work, I've had over 4 months of lies.
DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR here! IT IS NOW FEB 2025 AND MY NISSAN IS STILL IN YOUR SHOP. THE EXCUSES ARE THE SAME AS I STATED ABOVE. I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU SAY IN BUSINESS.

I have brought my vehicle here twice, the 1st time for the water pump. They had my vehicle for 4 days and only processed half of the warranty covered items with the warranty co. ( they failed to let them know that with the water pump I would also need a thermostat so I was stuck paying that part of the repair. ) When i picked up the vehicle I had to tell them to turn off the check engine light, only to return two days later due to them leaving " a Rock stuck in the pump". On my 2nd visit, again they had my vehicle for 4 days to replace a crank shaft sensor, they basically refused to run my warranty for a fully covered repair item or they would hold my vehicle hostage for at least 4 more days, I got the vehicle home a discovered they sloppily left a tool attached to my vehicle and had never returned my spare keys to me which I'm told will be $400 to replace for a chipped key and I will need a new locking gas cap as they lost my keys. When I called the shop, they could not find my keys, I was yelled at and hung up on by Russ and no resolution offered. What a joke, no offer to even slightly reimburse and NO INTEGRITY HERE!

Another place installed a new radiator very poorly. I took it here to fix it and, not only did they fix it quickly, they said it was an easy fix and didn’t even charge me. Great work and honest folk. I will be back!

My husband and I took our Honda Civic here for a third opinion. We had two other very reputable transmission shops tell us there was a hole in our transmission that couldn’t be fixed. They both quoted us $6-7k for a transmission replacement. Russ and his builder looked the transmission over and figured out the hole was just because the fill plug was missing. This ended being an extremely simple and low cost fix. I am so thankful to Russ for being honest with us and not just trying to get our money - he literally saved us thousands of dollars. We were about to throw in the towel with our car and cut our losses, but now we have it back in perfect working condition. If any of our vehicles have transmission issues in the future, we will be coming here.

I called Friday morning right when they opened. My transmission was crap and they advertised a free diagnostics. I was told that if I got my car towed it would be $145 unless I decided to have it fixed there. I was told that my diagnostic report would be done by the end of the day. So I said ok come grab my car please. It’s picked up at 10am and I wait and wait and nothing. I finally decided to call at 4:30 pm an hour before they close. This guy who when first we spoke was all over the situation just disappeared. I asked if the diagnostics was going to be done like he said. He’s like I can’t find any parts and your car doesn’t go into reverse. Yes I’m well aware that’s why it’s there. He said it probably won’t be done until Monday now. So today Monday March 25th I wait until 9:30 am and still don’t hear anything from them. I call and my diagnostic report still isn’t done because he can’t find any transmissions for sale to quote me a price. I said you told me you rebuild them in house and he said they can’t find those parts either ….PLEASE. I found rebuilt transmissions new ones all over the internet what a joke. Now my cars there I never received this free diagnostic but was told I needed a new transmission, I already knew that. So I paid $145 tow fee for what I got nothing from this but him saying you need a new transmission no quote nothing not even a single piece of paper with any information about my issue !!!! Any reputable company would have said we weren’t able to do a freakn thing so we’ll eat the towing cost not them. $145 dollar scam more like. IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD ?

If I could give this zero Stars I would. This place is terrible. I paid $4,300 to have a rebuilt transmission in my Cadillac. Literally 5 days later my car breaks down in another state. At first the guy refused to have my transmission looked at, then he was taking forever to approve the parts. Needless to say my car is still stuck in that other state. It's been well over a month now. I would definitely not recommend this place.

Russ Took amazing care of me and my van. I took my van to another shop to have a transmission oil flush. Needless to say they didn’t do a very good job. In fact, a horrible job. Russ took the time to do it right as well as clean up their dirty work! rates were beyond reasonable and he had a very quick turnaround. Will definitely be using him for other services as they are more than transmissions they do Nearly everything!

I had my trainsmission rebuilt at Amico on Miller Street in Arvada. They completed it promptly and it has worked beautifully since I’ve gotten my car back. Very happy with the service.
