Employee approved charges to my bank account twice and told me it was declined both times. Now I have to dispute the POSTED CHARGES with no cooperation from establishment or management or anybody for that matter!

This is for the Advance Auto on 53rd and Wadsworth and my visit was on Wednesday the 15th of November. There were two young guys in the store and I had my battery tested. The guy said I needed a new one. I left my wife to to deal with the purchase as I just had surgery on my foot and couldn't stand on it, yet i went out and disconnected the battery in my car to make things go smoother for the store employee to do the exchange. Out walks my wife, lugging a battery to our vehicle. I got real hot at that. I've been a loyal customer of this store through 2 major upgrades on a Jeep and a 70 GMC and the guys were always great. Not only did these two guys watch my wife lug out an heavy battery they didn't even offer her a cart to wheel it out.This is on the Advance Auto website: " BATTERY INSTALLATIONGet free battery installation when you purchase a new battery from us. Available for most vehicles."We paid over $230.00 for the battery but that didn't seem to matter to the boys running the store.One of the guys, he had long tangled red hair walked by when I was installing the battery and I asked him why he let my wife hand carry a battery right past both guys in the store and not offer to assist or to install it. He said "sorry" without concern or looking at me and wormed his way past me so he could go to his car. What kind of establishment hires worthless boys to operate an Advance Auto who refuse to be gentlemen enough to help a 62 year old woman carry out a battery? What a pathetic workforce this city is dealing with. Every single review I've done on Yelp I've complained about the young "men"...it has always been about young people...Now I wonder if I really needed a battery after all..

The people who work here are extremely helpful and very friendly. Last time I went there, the gentleman checking out made sure I got a deal on purchasing several items. I feel confident bringing my business here.

Was replacing turn signal and brake light bulbs in my vehicle. Went to advance because they are closer to home. I pulled up their website prior to going in and it listed one bulb as my brake ?. Kid in the store used their computer and it says another bulb. I mention that I need to get the right bulb and the kids reply was, “I’m not sure…” I put the pack of bulbs back on the rack and walked out. Never going back there again, useless!

I went to this location to get a new rear window windshield wiper blade since I'd had my old one for years. The part itself was cheap - about $15. I was excited because they said they'd put it on my car for me for free (part of a service they offer). It took the guy a bit before he had to call someone else in the store to help. They told me the arm was broken and I would have to get a new arm and go to another store location on Sheridan. When I asked how it broke, they said it was likely normal wear and tear but one of the teeth of the arm had broken off and I remember seeing a piece of plastic on my car rear bumper. I can't say for sure if anything was accidentally broken there but would've appreciated them taking ownership if this was the case as I had to go to a new location and pay $50 for a new arm.

This location hires grungy and rude staff. Online ordering used to be convenient but apparently its a hassle for these guys. Deleting the Advance Auto app from my phone. Better prices for the same product on Amazon, even after Advance's "Speed Perks."

I needed a rear windshield wiper replaced. Came in on a Saturday. Giani was the associate who greeted me and found the part I needed. He also went above and beyond by installing it, because I was confused about how it attached to the outer casing. Great service! I will definitely return to this store for my auto part needs. Thank you!
