It is a joy to work with someone who, despite how thankless the job may be, works really hard to address issues and responds in a timely and professional manner to sort out our problems. Sam Martinez is just that guy. He manages the facility in Arvada and he is a gem.
We were assigned a unit by the CubeSmart internet system on a Sunday when the office was closed. And when we went to our unit it was already in use by someone else. We got into another unit that was open and emailed the office letting them know of the issue. Sam called the next day, got to the bottom of it, and helped me out. Any other place and I would have run the risk of my stuff getting thrown out or auctioned off.
I recommend Sam, and the CubeSmart Arvada facility.

Sam was helpful in making our decision to rent a storage unit. He showed us various lockers and talked about our insurance options. It’s very clean and secure!

I have a few units at this location and have been happy overall. I will say this place has a bit of a vagrant issue, but the new general manager Sam seems to have a better control over the situation than others have. I actually see him walking the hallways and checking on the safety of the customers and their units, something that has been lacking in the past. Everyone is always helpful if I do have any issues. Would recommend!

Lailani, the manager, is extraordinarily helpful and engaged. It's clear that she does everything in her power to help customers with getting set up quickly and efficiently, while also taking time to answer questions and make the experience pleasant. She took me to see the unit I was renting, helping me get exactly what I needed, and was so kind and extra helpful. The facility is spotlessly cleaned and well-maintained. It has many different sizes and configurations of units, and a good number of flatbed carts for taking your belongings to your unit. The entrances even have two parking/loading spaces under an attached roof, which will really help during the inevitable times there is inclement weather. I highly recommend this location.

Cubesmart rentals rise faster than corporate apartment rentals. Downsized units this weekend, was charged more than was quoted the previous month and told all units of the same size were the same price (they are not same size, for one, nor same price) by some fast talking saleswoman from corporate headquarters until it was time to pay. The front office is the face of any business, I was there to switch cubes, not haggle over it like a used car. Measure your cube and settle on your final price before you sign the contract.
Otherwise, spaces are clean and safe. The A/C doesn't function most of the year.

Hi, I went in to finish reserving my spot with an employee today at Cubesmart in Arvada CO. I’ve been here multiple times and already have a unit there. I was never educated that I could transfer units, and if I was I would easily do that. When I walked in, an older lady with gray hair and purple highlights gave me nothing but attitude and dismissed me off the bat, I said I reserved a space and mentioned I was already a customer there. She smirked and told me I could’ve done a transfer from my other unit but it was too late and I didn’t have that option anymore. I hadn’t signed a contract for my new unit yet and just asked if I could cancel and do that instead, she proceeded to tell me no. Another girl who she was training was extremely polite and tried helping me transfer units. The older lady yelled at her and said no as well. I walked out because I’m not about to be a customer at a facility where employees are disrespectful to paying customers that have been there over a year and new employees who did nothing wrong. I would really like to continue my services at this facility but would like to do it with either customer support or another employee. She should not be in a customer service job and have an attitude with everyone there. Carlos was great when I first went to cubesmart and was nothing but helpful. This lady on the other hand needs to work elsewhere.

Adding the new management will be amazing for this location. My experience with Sam was amazing. His professionalism and customer service is exactly what this location needed. Very refreshing!

It is apparently impossible to:
1) pay over the phone
2)set up auto pay for a new card over the phone
3) speak to a representative who can ostensibly do this because all I can do is leave a message.
As a nomad, this is incredibly difficult,
As a nomad who can’t be reached unless I’m using Starlink, this means I basically have to stay within range and accomplish nothing until they (might) call me. So I can’t leave the van. Until they get around to calling me back.
Because of dyslexia, I ALWAYS miss-type numbers and have to start the entire process over repeatedly.
As soon as I get a spot where I am, I have to go back to my storage (2,000 miles away) and move everything here. To a locally owned and operated storage facility.
