These guys here were absolutely incredible, friendliest service I have ever had anywhere. Very knowledgeable and was not pushy on over selling while we acquired our new fish tank and stand and setup. When you go ask for Anthony.

The woman at the front desk at the vet had an attitude toward us and denied us service because we were five minutes late. After she left, we waited an additional five minutes, only for her to inform us that we were ten minutes late.

This review is based solely off the Vetco clinic, not the rest of the store.
Very disappointed with my experience this evening, as this is my neighborhood and go-to Petco location. My friend arrived for her new puppy’s appointment earlier than the 4:45 appointment time. Her puppy was with me because I was traveling with him from DTC area and got stuck in a lot of traffic. They told her when she asked that her puppy was unable to be seen if we were 10 minutes late or more. When I arrived, I asked them and they told me the same thing. The receptionist at the front then proceeded to tell me I needed to speak to her boss and her boss abruptly told me that she apologized I missed the appointment because of traffic, but they’re not able to accommodate our appointment because it is the end of the day. “There is not enough time in the day” she stated rudely. She also reported that they had another patient in the back. We proceeded to shop for the rest of our time there, as they are supposed to close at 6 PM, as of 5:30, they began closing off the veterinarian area, and no patients were seen to exit the room. Call me petty, but I wanted to be sure no other patients left and I stayed until 5:50 to see no patient exiting, and the Vetco area closed.They were rude, unprofessional, unaccommodating, and I will never be bringing any other animal to that Vetco.

I took my dog for a vaccination here one year ago. The vaccination station OR ANY KIND of room or even a corner was absent! It was a barbarian vaccination process in the middle of a kibble aisle.
There was a line of other dogs that were super anxious, barking and whining. It made my dog anxious too.
The “vet” or a nurse who was giving the vaccine seemed out of touch and first day doing it, super nervous and badly coordinated. My dog got scared (so did I) seeing this chaos and mess. They marked my dog as aggressive so now, one year after, a completely different Vetco in a different state won’t give my dog a vaccine. It’s a joke.
Never again. Goodbye Petco.

Extremely frustrated I came to this store to get my dog groomed today and was 20 minutes late the lady at the counter made it VERY clear to inform me of that and told me that she was about to cancel the appointment when I arrived (sorry I got stuck in traffic), after I received my text to pick up my dog I arrived at the front desk again and they gave me my receipt without giving me my dog back told me to pay and to come back after I paid to receive my dog. After I paid the told me that they were not going to accept my dog anymore because she was to aggressive. Also they did the worst grooming I’ve ever seen on my dog. I went to the grand junction Colorado location for years never had a problem but the Arvada location gave me the worst experience I’ve ever seen.

Some grooming and then vaccinations.
The grooming was before the vaccination and, it wouldn't take her at The grooming place because vaccine expired 6 days ago.
So I said hey I'm here. Can you guys just work this out,
Nope, you have to leave.
I literally just wasted an entire day on this.
Cuz you don't have a doctor that can give this dog shots right now, it takes 5 minutes, I have an appointment in 2 hours.
They won't let me go to the groomers.
No sorry. Your appointment's at 2:15 and we won't see you before.

I ordered cat food because I was out for my kittens. I ordered for delivery at 4:30. That should have given them time to prepare the order and have a delivery service drop my order off to me…. oh no let’s forget about my order….no I won’t get it until the day after Christmas. What the deal Petco. I could go out because I am suffering with a kidney stone.

My order wasn't delivered. My payment was processed through Petco, so when I called Door Dash, they told me the store needed to issue a refund. When I called Petco, a lady told me Door dash "lied" and they couldn't help. I called a national number for Petco and they helped. (877) 738-6742 is their number, and just contact them since this store won't help.

The staff at this store go above and beyond. It was by far a much nicer shopping experience than at larger pet supply stores!
