Seems like a good place and that that take care of the horses and really care about them. Communication could be a lot better, or it could have just been my experience. i had spoken on the phone with them and had set a day to come meet a horse. I txted to double check the time and never got a response. when I called to make sure I could still come by I got a txt saying the horse was adopted that day and that it was good for them and not good for me.

I was stranded in Wheat Ridge with a broken down truck that came with NO timeline on repair, had a horse in a trailer, and had to make it home to Wisconsin. Kris brought her truck and picked up my horse in the trailer and saved us from the heat and the exhaust of the semis in the truck stop parking lot we were stuck at. Awesome people. Couldn't have been more blessed in a time of need!

Beni is amazing and has a great big heart. Everyone that works or volunteers is also awesome and anyone that says different has not been there or talked to anyone with RMHR.

please beware of Rocky Mountain horse rescue there not a true rescue we went up there to look at a horse and found out they promised to some people in Kansas we followed up one month later for the owner of the rescue tell she was adopting a horse herself after many phone calls and many Communications that's not a true horse rescue they're only taking advantage of the 501 c 3 tax exemption to get every horse we look at on their property was not available except for one that was half crippled and was really stiff in the front so play if we were a rocky mountain horse rescue

I adopted Tricky Nui(Ricky), he is an off the track thoroughbred, I went out and rode him and was instantly in love!!!!!! Bini was so sweet, and truly makes sure that the person matches up with the horse. I still have Ricky, he will be 22 years old this coming year and is still my gentle giant!!!!!! Thank you RMHR!!!!!!
