I've always been a loyal Safeway customer at the location of 80th and Wadsworth. They have improved things quite a bit recently. Unfortunately, like with every other store, they have very few checkout lanes and lots of self check out. Even when, waiting to go through the checkout lanes, no one ever bags your groceries for you. It seems like the concept of service to the customer is old-fashioned anymore. It's just too bad.

Avoid Hailey at all costs. She does not care about your schedule, trust me you will be waiting for a minimum of an hour. Go anywhere else.

This isn't a complaint about the stores but rather their poor website and app. I have tried to online shop at least two dozen times and after typing in the product I get a spinning circle and below that "no matching products found". I don't care how simple I make the request, the result is the same. Tonight I was looking for manicotti pasta. Nope. Okay, how about just pasta? Nope. I have tried using the internet via my phone and my computer to no avail. I have tried using the app to no avail. I guess I won't be finding out about the stores themselves because apparently they don't need my business badly enough to allow me to shop online. I haven't shopped at Safeway in more than a decade so no need to return now.

This is probably one of the worst safeways I've ever been too. For starters, Rhonda a manager there is just terrible and horribly rude to not only guest but to her employees. I myself have over heard the way she talks down to people there and I'm honestly surprised she hasn't been fired. It's no wonder they can't keep anyone there to work, why would they when they talked down like your worthless by her? She's also racist, apparently if your not an older white person, she'll have someone follow you around to make sure you don't steal. I thought safeway didn't allow that, what's the deal? I've shopped only a few times and have been followed around because of her. I also know a few past employees that used to work there and Confirmed that she does this. Fire that manager. There was another time while shipping I over heard a group of managers talking about how someone there applied for a position in hopes of moving up and they all where making fun of this person, how dare you and very unprofessional! Shame on on those managers! I will shop at Walmart over this garbage of a store

this is the second time i’ve felt disrespected/uncomfortable enough at this pharmacy to leave a review. if you haven’t made the mistake of going through this pharmacy, DONT!!!! most of the workers (especially that balding nerdy guy) are so incredibly rude and judgmental. seriously. it’s to the point i don’t pick up my own prescriptions because having to interact with him sends me into panic attacks.

Techs are consistently rude and judgemental. Balding male tech has made both my wife and I so uncomfortable so many times that we had to switch to a safer and kinder pharmacy.

They advertise walk-in vaccines but try to discourage them. Instead of immediately assisting the staff kept saying it would be a really long wait. I was the only person standing there.

Good people working the counter, however despite talking to the head pharmacist about getting the ScripTalk label (for the visually impaired) placed on each order, we still have yet to have a single one come with the label. Last week my wife called and said that she didn’t need it by Friday, to allow extra time to get the label on. She got an alert that the script was ready, but Monday it still didn’t have the label. I waited an additional 25 minutes to have this put on.Safeway, please help your pharmacy by staffing it correctly.

I, too, am really surprised by the negative reviews. Sure...our cashier wasn't overly friendly, but she did her job. I loved the layout of the store, it appeared clean, there was a great variety of food. I seriously prefer it over the King Soopers we've been going to. I thought the prices were decent, honestly. My husband and I know that we won't find any grocery stores that offer the prices we had at the Woodmans' Markets we shopped in Wisconsin. We will definitely frequent this store.

This was the best experience at a pharmacy I have ever had! Usually, they have little time for you, want you in and out and don’t seem to care. My experience here was quite the contrary! I came in to just drop a prescription for my poor, sick dog and the ladies here were so nice! They went ahead and filled the prescription while I waited even though they were closing and were so personable and helpful! I am going to change over all my prescriptions! I really like this store. It's smaller and usually has everything I need. The employees are friendly and helpful. It's a nice small neighborhood type of store rather than the hectic and crowded store across the street. The reason for four stars is that when they run out of certain non grocery items, it takes them forever to get them back in stock.

The pharmacists and techs are usually nice and helpful. This location has been under-staffed for a while so just be patient and try to get your refills submitted a little early. Use the automated refill system rather than speak with a tech if you can.

I made an appointment a month ago for a COVID booster. The pharmacist said appointments were no longer being taken at this location, but couldn't call me in that entire month to let me know they weren't going to honor my appointment? I specifically took the day off of work in case there were any side effects. Now I get to start over trying to get an appointment. At least they are "sorry".
