“We love The Goddard School of Arvada! It was the best choice we could have made to send our son to school there. The teachers really care about him and it shows. They are patient, supportive, and teach to the whole child - social, emotional, and academic. The owner, Naomi, is lovely and is so passionate about creating a connected community for families.”

“We love the Goddard school! The office staff is so friendly and helpful, and the teachers are consistent and clearly love teaching the children. The curriculum is very strong and my son comes home everyday talking away about what he learned at school today. I’ve been in a few daycares with my boys but this one is leagues above the others. I’d highly recommend!”

“My kids love all the teachers they have had in preschool and pre K. They are so comfortable there. The staff is so friendly and loving. I am comforted knowing they are safe and loved while I’m at work. I’m a pediatric nurse and am confident in the safety practices that this daycare follows.”

“This was a good experience in general. I came here for lunch today, and there were both pros and cons. I entered through the front door and headed towards the cafeteria. I was talking with some buddies on the way in, but we were soon reprimanded. It turned out that this diner was not only a eating place, but also a training facility for their cooks. Every room except the dining room was filled to the brim with cooks-to-be. This was an interesting layout that made talking on the way in non-existent.When I entered the cafeteria, I headed to the food line. The cafeteria only has three options each day, but they go through a rotation about once a month. I grabbed my choice and headed to a table where some friends sat. The food was poor, but that’s okay. There was a good amount of enjoyable food also that they were not serving that day. My favorite part was the band. The went by the name of “The Para Aides”, and performed all lunch long. The band included whistle blowing, special sections with the lights off, and sing alongs. Some of the sing-alongs included the following: “The Para Aides” would shout “Red Robin!” and the eaters would answer “Yum!” (although I did find it strange that they were advertising for a different dining place). Another one included a clapping section were “The Para Aides” would clap a certain rhythm, and the diners would answer with a different rhythm. And finally, “The Para Aides” would shout “One two three! Eyes on me!” and we would answer “One two! Eyes on you!”. Even though it seemed like we stated the obvious, they seemed very satisfied when everyone grew quiet as we watched them continue the song.I definitely enjoyed the experience, but I still think it would be more convenient if they move their training center to a different building. All in all, I recommend you visiting this place. Very nice!”

“We love this preschool! There are several options. From half to full days and 2 to 5 days/week. They are extremely flexible when it comes to how long and often your child goes to school. It is reasonably priced and they put an emphasis on all of the teachers being qualified (with an early childhood education degree) to be in their roles. Our son is in Ms. Terrys class and she is absolutely wonderful. He loves going to school and is growing and developing so much! The school has a big emphasis on Catholic education and incorporates Catechisis of the Good Shepard into their learning. They have fun fundraising events for the school where parents can get to know each other. The school knows how to throw a party! Ms. Diana and her team have it together! We trust them and not only do we feel safe sending our son there, but we feel like it is helping him thrive!”

“Happy Valley Children's Ranch Preschool is a magical place! My daughter has excelled academicly as well as socially. The farm animal element ads a unique and fun feature to the school and the rest of the saff is a pleasure to connect with. I've enjoyed the engagement the school has within our community and I would recommend this preschool as a wonderful early learning facility.”

“Primrose West Woods is miles ahead of our last daycare. They are organized, structured, caring and kind. They work with the parents, communicate well and love on our kids. My toddler and baby absolutely love it there and miss it when we go on vacation or are sick. Thank you to the whole staff for being so amazing!”

“The owners and the teachers of Foundations are incredibly sweet, thoughtful and attentive. They send out weekly lesson plans and our son comes home saying new words almost every day. Our almost 2 year old has loved this daycare so much. He is safe, loved, and well cared for, what more can you ask for? All of the bad reviews are from the vaccine policy, which, as a healthcare professional, I completely understand and agree with.”

“This is so much more than a daycare. It's a school. Every teacher cares genuinely about the students and each other. It is a positive place to be in and have your children in. I am so lucky that my baby gets to be in the infant room! These teachers care so much about each child. It is always great and thorough communication with the teachers and director! The students have so much fun everyday being creative and participating in the curriculum- from infants to older children! I love my center!”

“I'm very appalled at the behavior of some people in regards to some of the teachers here at Lawrence. I've been involved with the PTA as well as several other events that my daughter has taken part in. I've never had an issue with any of the teachers mistreating my daughter, if anything I've been pleased with how they have went out of their way to help her where she'd been struggling. My daughter has had Mrs. Peterson in the past and she spoke the world of her. To hear someone degrade her the way they have is an outrage, and obviously haven't taken the time to get details from both sides, our children at times may fudge the truth to get out of trouble, to not recognize that is ridiculous. Lawrence Elementary has and will continue to be the school I would recommend for any elementary aged child.”

“After being in Jeffco for many years I highly suggest taking your kiddos to this school. The school introduced me to many close friends such as my best friend I’ve had since my first year of going named Dalton. The school has a very good education and very positive staff aswell as nice behaved students. Overall it’s amazing”

“Three of my 4 kids attend Prospect and my 4th kiddo plans to go when they're middle school age. What a breath of fresh air! I am blown away by how the staff listens to parents and kids concerns. My kids love going to school now. I don't dread calls from the school. They embrace behaviors. Of course there are natural consequences for unsavory behaviors but I'm not getting calls daily for minor infractions. They call because they're worried. My child wasn't acting like himself and his behavior was secondary, the school wanted to make sure that my child was doing ok before addressing behaviors. This is the support we've been looking for! They also teach mastery not these convoluted levels that kids need to attain because of their age or grade level. I really wish all schools would use Prospect as an example and really meet kids where they are. I'm so thankfully we ended up at Prospect!”

“If you're looking to get certified in permanent makeup, I would highly recommend going to Erla! She is a wonderful person, and very hands on in her teaching. You will learn a lot from her course, and she'll make sure you feel confident enough to do permanent makeup on your own. She's also very honest and gives plenty of constructive criticism to help you learn. Her classes are currently limited to 4 students at a time, which is great because you're not lost in a huge group and trying to figure things out on your own!”

“From the administration to the teachers this is by far the most wonderful, and caring school I have ever been to. They go above and beyond each and everyday for my daughters, as well as myself. Anne is one of the best in the business, and she is the most caring person I’ve ever met and worked with. She truly cares about all the children at Head Start, and you can see that everyday. I can’t praise Ms. Melissa & Ms. Sammi enough for truly loving what they do, and teaching my children everyday. They both are the top of the line teachers, and they have so much love for the kids it’s amazing. I love that my children beg me to go to school everyday, and you don’t hear that often. I can’t give this school enough credit, they are all so amazing here, I HIGHLY recommend sending your children here is you can, you know they are learning, and being loved each day. Thank you to all of you for truly making this school a better and brighter place, you all deserve the most praise!”

“I enrolled my son here a few months ago. There has been some staffing changes along the way and i must say im really impressed with where this site is going. I am seeing a vast improvement with the new staff that has been put in place in the last month or so. My son seems very happy and is well taken care of. I get daily updates as to what my son is up to throughout the day and even get pictures. As any parent i always feel a little worried leaving my son when i go to work but it is comforting to know that he is well taken care of and has a safe and happy place to go for the day.”

“Not just the teachers there, but the whole staff genuinely care for these children. I could go on all day saying wonderful things about Swanson Elementary and the people that work there. It saddens me to know that the school is closing at the end of the school year and it has my grandson very upset to not know where he's going, being separated from his friends he's in 4th grade so this is a very big deal to him and this is been very hard for him. I'm really sorry the school is closing. I hope all the kids and parents find their new school just as nice like Swanson.”

“I have an elementary school child who attends Excel Academy, and we have had a phenomenal experience in the two years we have been here. The new focus on explorations has made learning very engaging. Teachers are phenomenal! The PTO sponsors great community events. Love the small school, only 2-3 classes per grade level, so it feels like a community where everyone is seen and known. I would definitely recommend this school.”

“My oldest started there at one years old and after looking at over twenty different ones and having the worse experiance at others it was the best choice i ever made. Unlike other daycares that just make it sound good for the tour they really follow through. They helped me with teaching my son so much and I am constantly amazed which other things he has all ready learned and know. Not only do they teach a lot of school stuff but they also install morals which is great, and help build their confidance. The teachers and director are also very caring.”
