“My daughter is getting ready to graduate from Green Mountain Village Preschool and cannot say enough positive things. Ms Tracy is doing an incredible job building this program. She knows each of the kids by name. She knows us parents. She genuinely loves our daughter and our family. Her teachers Ms Katy and Ms Erin have fostered a love of learning that is hard to find. They love each of the kids in the classroom and do a great job preparing them for elementary school. As we move on to elementary school in the fall we will miss this place deeply.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. Watching our child grow and flourish here over the years has been one of the greatest joys of our parenting journey.

What stands out most is how thoughtfully structured the curriculum is — perfectly calibrated to exactly where children are developmentally at each age and stage. It never feels one-size-fits-all; it feels intentional and expertly designed.

The teachers are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in every child. They communicate closely with parents, keep us consistently updated, and make us feel like true partners in our child’s development.

The space itself is just beautiful — warm, stimulating, and joyful. And the administration and directors are equally fantastic: responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about what they’ve built.

If you’re looking for a preschool where your child will truly thrive, look no further. We are so grateful for everything this school has given our family.”

“My son has been at the ELC at Bethlehem for 3 years. The teacher communication is always quick and great! So much of the staff knows my son and they all make him feel known and loved. My son enjoys it very much and has learned a lot of skills since attending. They have many safety measures in place. There are also so many community activities to join in on. I have met many other parents and feel like we're actually part of a community. Lastly and the biggest selling point for us, is that Bethlehem shares the Gospel with the kids.”

“My son is 2.5 first time in childcare . I was a bit nervous but we both needed this opportunity . He has become more social , making friends, getting better with emotional regulation. He absolutely loves his teachers and the staff. I can’t believe he even enjoys napping there because at home he fights me on naps. He must be so wore out I suppose from all the mental and physical endurance learning he is gaining there. A wonderful place in general and no complaints.”

“I feel so incredibly grateful that our daughter attends this school. The care that each teacher and staff has shown us has exceeded my highest expectations. They truly care, they really get to know our family, they make it a fun, safe, warm environment, they go the extra mile on the hard days, and they provide helpful recommendations to assure our daughter keeps progressing. The facility is clean and bright, everything is organized, and they are excellent communicators. Our daughter is hitting her milestones and really loves going to school and so much of this has to do with the very special team at Precious Angels.”

“This is our 3rd year at DC. We are so thankful that we found this school, and for the amazing teachers and families. We've been in public schools and a couple of different private schools over the years, and none of them compare to DC.”

“My grandson attends ALC Lakewood and we LOVE it here! He was slightly delayed in speech and social behavior and within just a few weeks of attending ALC he demonstrated notable improvement in words and socialization.

He’s been going here a little over a year now Ana I cannot imagine him being anywhere else! The staff is amazing from the Director to the teachers!

You won’t go wrong choosing ALC!”

“I attended this school from 1982 through 1993, and in retrospect, it was truly a fantastic experience that shaped so much of my personal success in life. Now, at 50 years old, I still hold the utmost respect for the all the teachers and administrators who dedicated their time and energy not only to me, but to every student who passed through the doors of Tanglewood Open, Mountain Open High, and Jefferson Open School.

What made Open School so unique for me was the opportunity to pursue learning far beyond the standard curriculum. I was able to study abroad in Germany for six months, and before that, I took extended language and cultural courses at Denver University. The school also provided incredible travel-based learning experiences—including trips to Mexico and Florida for marine biology courses, where I even became scuba certified (a certification I’ve proudly maintained into adulthood).

I also had the privilege of exploring advanced subjects such as human genetics under the guidance of my science teacher and advisor at the time, Judi Justice. She was not only a fantastic educator but also a true mentor whom I deeply respect to this day.
I still partake in ceramics and painting which I contribute to my art teacher Susie Bogard. There are so many teachers that deserve accolades at that school who impacted me in so many positive ways.

Jefferson County Open was more than a school—it was a community that encouraged curiosity, independence, and growth for the students who put forth the effort to be part of that community. I am profoundly grateful for the experiences I had there and the impact they continue to have on my life.”

“The reviews almost stopped me from a great experience here. From the registration process, to class work and communicating with my professors, I’ve had nothing short of an amazing experience. I’ve learned so much in the short time that I went to RMCAD and graduated with my BA in Fine Arts today. Yes, it was a lot of work but with that work I’ve learned so much and accomplished what I came to do. All of my instructors were knowledgeable, gave great feedback and answered all of my questions. I can vouch 100% for the music production program and have no doubt that all of their other programs are just as amazing!”
