West Woods Golf Club in Arvada, Colorado, offers a challenging and well-maintained 27-hole course with three distinct nines—Sleeping Indian, Cottonwood, and Silo—designed by Richard M. Phelps and his son. The course features fast greens, pristine fairways, and a layout that requires strategic play, making it suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The club boasts a remodeled clubhouse that includes an indoor simulator, a restaurant, a bar and grill area, and an outdoor patio with mountain views, providing a pleasant setting for relaxation and dining. The driving range is open daily until an hour before sunset and is considered above average. Visitors appreciate playing here, especially when visiting family, and enjoy the challenging course and fast greens. However, some reviewers note issues with pace of play, citing long wait times and tight tee times that can lead to waiting or being hit by golf balls from behind. The clubhouse food and drinks are generally well-liked, although some find the prices high. Overall, West Woods Golf Club is regarded as one of the top public courses in the Denver area, offering a great golfing experience with beautiful scenery and good facilities.

Great course in great shape. Pace of play was pitiful. 4hrs an 45 minutes. I saw a tee box ahead of us with nobody on it for @ 20 minutes. Love the place But needs course and food management.
