Returned car @ Aspen airport because windshield was cracked. Manager requested photos which we provided. Photos had date stamped within minutes of us getting the car proving the damage was there but the manager falsified the report claiming we did not provide photos. Our experience was terrible at Aspen airport with Hetrz. Beware!

I recently rented a car at the Aspen A/P. I left a small but very important Item in the car. Mr L Jones was able to locate it. It was returned to me within 2 days He went above and beyond. Incredable agent! Better keep that one. B Hanson

Hertz Aspen charged me an unwarranted cleaning fee for a 5 hour rental with a perfectly clean car. I spent two hours trying to dispute. I’ve been a Gold customer for more than 20 years. This is solely an attempt by Hertz to take advantage of customers expecting them to not notice or question. Stay away. Use Avis. Their President’s Club is much better. They do try harder.

Misinformation WHEN you can get ahold of them but I’ve literally tried calling 9 different times throughout the day to VARIFY available so we don’t make a 2 hr drive for nothing AGAIN, and NO ANSWER AT ALL! Poor service !

Never again. Jesse at Aspen airport was rude and unaccommodating. They rented us a car for our trip to Aspen. Upon arrival we filled the car up literally across the street from the airport before immediately returning the car to Hertz. They proceeded to charge us for gas stating that the car was not full. Could not have possibly been fuller. Whatever, we let that slide. Then when we went to pick up the rental for the return trip which was booked well in advance they refused to rent to the on our debit card that we used to get here and make all accommodations. Absolute mess leaving us scrambling to get home.

I booked a car at Aspen Airport and they wouldn’t let me take it because I had a debit card and not a credit card. I rented cars with that same card for years, including Hertz in Aspen. The guy in the counter looked like he hated his job. He charged my card $500 and right after he did he said because it was debit he couldn’t give me the car. Still today I am wasting time fighting with Hertz to refund me back that money for a car I never even got.
Next day, next counter over at Aspen airport I booked a car with Budget. The guy that helped me was lovely and honest to God in less than 5 minutes I got the car, not one issue, not one question asked.
Hertz Never again!

I have friends who went through bad experiences with Hertz, but my experience with Walter was the best! He not only made sure my car was ready, helped me switching to an AWD which allowed me to go to the mountains, but also stayed late past his shift to make sure my car was running smoothly and to warmed it up for me, so that I could safely drive off. Thank you Walter, you definitely went above and beyond and deserve a raise!

Rent from this location almost every month. Jessie and the rest of the staff are always helpful and the selection of cars are good. I know it's a busy location in winter time but they're always willing to help.

The young guy with glasses and a mustache is extremely rude and had an attitude for no reason. Huffing and puffing when I had any questions or concerns rolling his eyes and over very unprofessional.
