“We originally purchased a hoodie while visiting the Aspen store in late June 2025. After returning home, we realized the hoodie was damaged. We underwent a frustrating experience with their AI bot customer service and were unable to find resolution. Emails to their corporate office also went unreturned. As a result of this, we left a negative review of our experience. Within 30 minutes, we heard from Skye Vaughn, the regional manager for Colorado. I cannot express to you how above and beyond she went to rectify our issues and find a suitable replacement for the damaged hoodie we had purchased. If you ever have a challenge with your purchase, please try and connect directly with the store versus the online Aviator Nation AI bots. Skye's personal touch turned our experience around. “After purchasing a beautiful silver Aspen leaf necklace at The Hive Aspen, owner Cynthia suggested we stop by Duchess and the Dude—and we’re so glad we did.
Kimberly welcomed us into her charming boutique, which is filled with unique, thoughtfully curated clothing and accessories you won’t find everywhere else. One of the highlights of our visit was meeting Lebo, her long-haired dachshund with a huge personality. Kimberly even put a cowboy hat on him and let us take photos—we absolutely fell in love with him!
While browsing, my husband spotted a gorgeous brown leather jacket. Kimberly helped him find the perfect size and fit, and although he had no intention of buying a leather jacket that day, the quality, craftsmanship, rich leather scent, and surprisingly reasonable price made it impossible to leave behind. It felt like the perfect Aspen purchase—something he’ll enjoy for many years to come.
If you’re visiting Aspen, I highly recommend stopping by Duchess and the Dude. Kimberly and Lebo make the experience just as memorable as the beautiful merchandise.”

“If you are looking for sophisticated and stylish women's clothing, don't hesitate to shop at Four One Nine in Aspen. The owner, Kristin, is so helpful and patient, and so is Marie, who works part-time. Kristin carries a good selection of Rachel Comey (one of my favorite brands) and many other brands as well that you won't find anywhere else in Aspen, including some local designers. Excellent hand bags, shoes, jewelry, and accessories too. My friend and I bought several pieces on our trip to Aspen and will be checking the website regularly. It will be a must stop the next time I am in Aspen.”

“Super friendly staff (per usual in Aspen) and Aether products are terrific. Their knit polos are great for warm-to-cold, the ski gear is exceptional (the bibs are my favorite) but tend to be heavier than other brands as they're constructed from 3L GoreTex.”

“Most ridiculous place I have ever seen, you have to go in and see for yourself. They had a jacket that I thought looked cool and interesting, the clerk said it was made from rugs. Bonus you can get a workout while strolling about town. The elbows were threadbare, so the prior owner had a habit of resting their elbows on a table like I do. First thing that always wears out for me. I would love to see the person who shells out nearly $4k for this beast. Probably some of the best people watching in town, complete clown show. Sorry to hear about the person who purchased fake diamonds.”

“Beautiful women's clothing! high-end unique pieces. The owner is a doll. She is so sweet and helpful. She carries Shoes, (Alaia) handbags, coats, chrome hearts accessories, some casual clothing, dresses, hats and a fine jewelry line out of London that is absolutely amazing. She has some Mary katrantzou pieces, and one of my favorites Giambattista Valli! She's had her store for 30 years and when you meet her you'll know why. It's right on the corner in the middle of town! Think small little intimate setting, clean and neat filled with goodness! Mary helped me design my new "loquet" (a line out of London started by 2 girls) You select your locket, the charms to go inside and the chain length and style. (They have a chain that is completely adjustable ) They are pricey but made with gold, diamonds and even your birthstone if you select one. The entire collection Is completely customizable and she has a wonderful selection of their dainty little charms. She also can order a piece for you! And the company customizes charms if you do a special order. I've never heard of the brand ("loquet") before but boy did I fall In love quick! Mary did an excellent job educating us on the line. And I left with a beautiful new necklace that will be cherished forever Stop in next time you are in aspen. Her boots and coats are amazing and she's a doll!”
