This company was so helpful to me during a very stressful move. Communication was good but the workers themselves were caring and accommodating will any and all needs. I am grateful to have found them and I ended up scheduling them twice.

This is the worst company I have ever encountered. The lead man Lateef is simply nothing better than a bald faced liar. They were hired to load a trailer with my furniture and other possessions and were the most careless movers you could imagine. They completely ruined a very expensive bedroom set, damaged office furniture beyond repair and just piled things into the trailer carelessly and haphazardly. Many of my expensive tools that were to be loaded seem to be missing and I suspect they were loaded into their personal vehicles. These careless idiots even started a fire in the trailer by improperly handling a propane grill. I have reached out to them but have received no response. Avoid Able Moving and Handyman Service and save yourself money, time and aggravation.

Terrible. I spoke with other movers and one gave me an estimate of truck size after a 45 minute call during which I measured and itemized each item. I was told a 20 foot truck, properly loaded, was needed. When I called Able Moving, the crew manager seemed distracted, talking over a loud vehicle or motorcycle. I explained the info above and he said he had a 17 foot truck but would wave the trip fee for the second trip if needed. He also said that upon arrival, he and the crew would wrap furniture in plastic (never done), and be very careful with a china hutch and oversized furniture, as well as a $3,500.00 refrigerator. The crew showed up with an unmarked yellow truck with the right side mirror taped on. The truck has some stuff in it already and was dirty, not swept. They did not use a ramp and hoisted and slid heavy furniture up the back of the truck. They did not pack the truck properly (with even load and utilizing all space). They did NOT tie down or secure anything. They did not check or look to see if shelving inside was secure (they lost the bracket shelving tabs), including not securing the glass shelves in the refrigerator. The crew lead was in a hurry to make a flight. Upon destination arrival, it was apparent that my unsecured items and furniture had become projectile missiles. Everything was rushed and not coordinated at unloading, I did not have the time to properly direct where items where to go as the crew manager was in such a hurry. Then there was the second trip. They dragged my refrigerator across Brazilian Cherry floors creating a 23 foot scrape, which the crew manager said he would repair. (He never did). The same thing happened with unsecured items. My refrigerator front was dented and scratched, they hit the top of my new blinds taking an outdoor table outside, which I witnessed; then the crew manager said he had taken blind top down, which was untrue. (They NEVER replaced it or asked if it was broken). My China cabinet was scratched, the top of an accent table was chipped and the side was scratched. The top of a mirrored dresser was scratched, the bottom was chipped, and when reassembled, they did not secure the mirror. My heavy bed-frame was reassembled against the wall such that any movement makes it rub against the wall and the screws in the bed frame were not screwed in all of the way. Metal garage shelving was bent. The end of the move was on rural roads, and the crew drove 80 MPH on a 45 and 55 MPH road. I was in front of them at one time and they about ran me off of the road. Since all of the moving was not done in one day, a Monday, there was a second moving day, Wednesday. My husband stayed at the origination point and I stayed at the destination. The crew left my home at 1056 am, they should have arrived at 1156 am at the latest. I checked traffic reports with Google and Apple Maps every ten minutes and it took the crew 2 hours to arrive. The crew manager claimed that the traffic was bad. By this time I had had the time to look over some of my belongings previously moved, it is an understatement to say I was upset. The crew delivered the last load and did not charge me due to all of the damage, but this hardly makes up for the horrible treatment and disrespect of other’s belongings, some of which have sentimental meaning or are necessities. I should have known that it was a poor decision to use this service when they showed up in a truck with a taped mirror and did not know how to properly pack a truck and protect belongings, but I had a deadline and decided to trust these movers. WORST DECISION EVER.

These people are liars and thieves. I hired them to pack and load my belongings for an interstate move. As the unloading process began, it became more and more obvious how carelessly they had loaded my belongings. Thus far the damage exceeds $25,000.00 and the company won't respond to any of my calls, texts or emails. In addition to the damaged property, many tools and other belongings never arrived. I'm guessing the tools were loaded into their own vehicle and other property tossed into the dumpster on site rather than loaded into the trailer. Don't believe a word any of these people say and don't trust them for a second with any of your property.

They charge an hourly rate but they don't work slower just to get more money, they really do work as hard, safely, and swiftly as they can to ensure their customers get the best rates. There were no hidden fees and the estimate they gave me was the amount I payed. All of the workers that had helped me had great integrity and work ethic. They placed everything exactly where I wanted it to ensure I was all set when they left. Lateef made sure that I was completely satisfied and didn't need anything else before leaving. I would recommend them to any friends, family, or people needing to move in a heartbeat. Sincerely thank you guys my move would have been so much stressful with out you. Next time I move I will definitely be using Able Moving again.
