This place such a nice place . But the customer services they were trying charged me extra money . There was a deal on turf builders /lawn feed $44.99 and get free handheld spreaders. But I have seen on my receipt that it was charged $ 12.50 for spreaders. That is embarrassing. But even the thing was not free.at least I got refund for those , please folks please make sure all items charged correctly before you get out the store .

I've been to this store many times over the years typically for screens and BBQ supplies. My last screen repair experience echos that of other customer reviews regarding exorbitant pricing. I went in recently to replenish my bbq supplies and nearly passed out from sticker shock. I've been to the majority of BBQ specialty stores in the denver metro area and Ace is by far the most expensive store. Based off the appearance of some spices (discolored) im not even sure you'll get fresh product. I'm not sure whats up with this store, but they seem to be price gouging the community they serve.

ACE is a special place.
I grew up not too far from an ACE hardware store and I have spent a lot of time in my life wandering the hardware section, looking for bits and bobs to fix a cabinet or put the car back together. The bulk hardware has a special place in my heart.
This store is quite cramped, and they stock it as high as they can to make good use of the space.
It's nice to have somewhere to get keys duplicated or a small amount of paint to touch up a wall. The staff here is attentive and helpful anytime I need something from a locked case. I find it to be a lot more useful than the big box stores. I only go to their competitors when I need some bulk material ACE doesn't carry. Otherwise, it's nice to be able to zoom in, grab three or four odds and ends, and zoom out. Friendly staff and fast checkout. The way it should be.

There is no Resharp knife sharpening capability at this store. They do them by hand not with the Resharp machine. I didn't stay to have my knife sharpened so not sure how well they do?

Went in to buy paint. Had the codes. Benjamin Moore paint. The guy working in paint was having casual conversation with some woman about gorilla tape. Another guy tried to come over and help and had no idea what he was doing. Then a female manager that I think was the GM asked them if they are okay and she got mad faces from us and lost looks from her employees. She just walked off. Then the paint guy finally comes over and can’t even read a sample card for the color we wanted. Couldn’t mix paint or anything. This place was a frickin joke. Lost my business. Left and went to Home Depot where people have a clue what they are doing.

I’ve been to this location a few times and each time I’ve been disappointed. No one greets you or offers to help. We are a young family who came in with our baby trying to find a furnace igniter and the manager brushed us off towards aisle 12 but didn’t offer to help. Another guy came to the end of our aisle but just stared at us awkwardly. I asked why he was staring and he finally asked if we needed help. I said yes and explained our situation. Then he says oh and I wasn’t staring, I was looking at your baby. Ok? Idk. It’s always a weird environment and not everyone is friendly/helpful.
