Very grateful for valet parking as it feels like a small city. Definitely plan to get there early even for the valets. We have been to 13 hospitals in Colorado and the specialists we have seen here have been some of the best.

This was my first time visiting the Anschutz campus with my fiancé for a procedure. It’s never easy going to a hospital although from the time we walked into the hospital until we were finished was a most unexpected warm and almost family like feeling. As you can imagine, we had that dazed look as to where to go upon entering and a warm woman from the maintenance staff stopped her work and took us right to the entrance of where we needed to be first. The warmth continued upon registration, nurses, X-ray technicians in the nuclear med dept…especially Joseph for allowing me to borrow his iPhone charger!Thank you to all for relieving some of the anxiety and know we are in great hands. Making the decision to have surgery here was the best choice!

In my opinion, Anschutz Hospital's pricing practices reflect health greed rather than genuine healthcare. To my shock, Anschutz Hospital quoted me a price for two procedures that was three times higher than every other place I checked, including other UC Health facilities. Naturally, I couldn't help but question such exorbitant pricing. Instead of addressing my concerns with transparency and professionalism, the staff at Anschutz became defensive and outright angry that I dared to question them. The lack of empathy and understanding regarding my financial concerns was disheartening. Healthcare should prioritize patient well-being, not profit margins. It's disheartening when hospitals prioritize financial gain over the accessibility of healthcare to those in need.Ultimately, I had no choice but to cancel my procedures at Anschutz due to the outlandish prices. The experience left me deeply disappointed. Healthcare should be about healing and caring for patients, not exploiting their vulnerabilities for financial gain.

Worst hospital to visit the policy for not holding a pepper spray and a vape until the patient is finish seeing the doctor is absurd they want to throw your stuff away instead of holding it until you get done

Top notch facilities. I had some radiology work that wasn't available at the Denver VA. All the staff I interfaced with were very professional and attentive. Ate lunch at the hospital cafeteria, good taco special along with a grill and prepared sandwiches, salads and fruit. Excellent selection of drinks. Fair prices. Indoor and outdoor seating. Handicap accessible. Good directional signage.

I cannot believe the horrible experience I just had here thanks to one extremely immature doctor.I had an ENT appointment this afternoon for a life-long issue. When the doctor came in, we got talking and she started very basic (as she should), so I told her, calmly and respectfully, "we can get right to the nuts and bolts", in an effort to simply help her and not waste her time since I've been through this dozens of times. A few minutes later she starts dropping this "I don't feel safe!" stuff out of nowhere. Literally all I did was talk to her in a calm, monotone, voice and look her in the eyes when she was speaking to me. I did literally nothing else. If she said something that required a response, I would give a response. I did absolutely nothing to merit this behavior from her. I even reassured her I wasn't trying to make her feel unsafe and that she was in fact, 100% safe. She still acted like a child, so I left. All I did was speak to her calmly and rationally. I don't know why that was such a big deal to her. Sorry I wasn't happy-go-lucky I guess? I can't imagine why else she'd throw a fit over nothing.I took an entire afternoon off from work for this appointment, I had to waste gas driving up from the Tech Center, just to receive no care thanks to an immature doctor. Nothing about her behavior was even remotely professional, or even ok behavior overall for that matter. How is this acceptable?

We’ve had a wonderful stay so far, staff has been helpful, kind, and we feel we’re in good hands! The food is decent as well, $10 for a full meal can beat that anywhere these days!

I will never be coming to this hospital for anything. I went to the emergency room for breathing issues they never did anything to help me with that told me I was fine and sent me home. Then I had an appointment with the obgyn she didn't run any test told me I was infertile then proceeded to tell me I needed to lose weight and eat better. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.

We had to take our son in for surgery for his broken finger and the place is quite large and busy. When you enter, you really have to know where you're going or you will get lost. Once we found our way to the right floor and department, the admin staff was helpful. Unfortunately they are forced to ask ridiculous questions of our 17ur old son, like how do you identify and were you born male, sexual preference, etc! Disturbing to say the least and irrelevant to why we were there. Once we got into pre-op the staff was amazing! Kim, our nurse was a delight and made things comfortable and even fun (as much as can be before an operation). Doctors and staff were professional, friendly and instilled confidence that they would take great care of our boy. Overall, a great experience, just plan ahead and get all the details ahead of time.

The treatment I received at UCH is five stars. The cafeteria is one star if you don't eat meat you have to pay for it anyway (rip off) and the cafeteria they didn't accept cash and has no signage indicating that so I had to waste food because I couldn't pay for it since I don't have a credit card

It is so negligent for a primary care provider to not treat a patients pain. If a patient is born with a crippling birth defect which causes severe pain they should be allowed to receive treatment for that pain. It is extremely uncaring for a provider to just say "we do not prescribe pain treatment here" Borders on malpractice.
