4 hrs later and probably 30 mins of work justifies $120 for a diagnostic check to tell me what I knew already and then price gauged for 3 times what it would cost me. Crazy and done for less than 200 bucks but with this it doubled the cost. Diagnostic cost should at least reflect the work, it was an engine check, it was a door?

These idiots left a hose loose underneath my car and it was leaking out the next day when I noticed it. Fixed it myself, no way will I let them touch anything of mine again.

Amazing service, brought a car in from craigslist for a pre-purchase check last minute and they were able to fit me in on their schedule with ease. They were able to bring up previous damage history on the car, warn me of multiple damages the car had, and they even sent me a text afterwards with recommendations on the car buying process and a free check for the next time I came in. If I find another car in Aurora to buy, this is the place I'll be taking it to.

I just got my car repaired there and had an awesome experience. Usually car repair shops will call you and tell you the laundry list of things wrong with your vehicle that they absolutely need to fix. Auto works was the opposite. I took it in because I thought my starter had died, but they called me back and told me it was just a battery. They didn’t try to sell me on other things Even though I have an older vehicle. Honest great repair at reasonable prices. Just referred my sister to them.

Brought our VW Golf in for the first time yesterday as she was having trouble accelerating and the EPC and check engine light came on out of nowhere. Super nervous as looking up the potential causes could be very expensive and we only had the car less than a year. I know these makes of vehicles tend to be on the pricier side to fix when things go wrong. They got us right in and didn’t take long to figure out the cause! And thank goodness it was at the lower cost end of the problem. They fixed the car up by the end of the day! Everyone was great and knowledgeable, and the prices were fair! We will definitely bring our vehicles in if there are ever any maintenance issues that arise! Thanks guys!

I brought my 2008 Honda Fit to Autoworks after hearing a thumping sound while coasting. They quickly diagnosed the issue as worn sway bar links and replaced them at a very fair price. During the inspection, they also discovered that one of my wheels had all the lug nuts loose — a serious safety issue — and tightened all the lugs at no charge.
I really appreciate their honesty, attention to detail, and fast service. These are honest, locally owned mechanics you can trust in Aurora. Highly recommended!

After one of the largest chains had finally done enough for me to realize I need to look for a different place to go for car troubles, I was lucky enough to find this place online. Exceptional work at an honest price still does exist apparently, and it’s alive and well at Autoworks. If you think anything is wrong with your car you should try and get an appointment booked ASAP because as you can imagine they have a busy schedule. Thank you again for the great work you do, and conducting your business with honesty and integrity!
