She tried to steal the change, when I confronted her she was super rude and didn't even give it to me completely.

I usually never make reviews but the situation was so funny I felt compelled to. I was in today around 3:30PM. There was a tall, heavy white lady working and ringing up customers. My grandmother doesn't speak English and she was trying to purchase a scratch ticket/lotto ticket by me translating. I got a phone call and told my friend I'd call him back. In the meantime, the lady said "You need to hurry up I have people waiting on me." I replied, "There's no one in line." I couldn't help but laugh but she obviously didn't find it funny and rolled her eyes. Afterwards a couple of boys who were in the drinks and snacks section got into line and she tried to rush me by saying "$5!!" again and again. Lady.. Chill.. My grandmother is 76 years old and it does take her some time to function. I irritatedly put down my money and she said, "JESUS CHRIST." She slammed down my change, which didn't really bother me but it seemed to have helped her put out her anger. Just a recommendation to the manager- Try to hire someone with common sense. If you're going to lie, at least lie about something that I cannot check. How stupid do you have to be to lie about people waiting on you in line... when there is no line.. LMFAOOOO And lastly, please be kind and patient to the elderly. By the looks of you, you're heading that way soon so please treat people how you want to be treated. The situation scared my grandmother and she doesn't want to go there to buy her lotto tickets anymore.

Since I'm not from here, I don't know if Circle K store is Shell or Shell Gas Station is also Circle K. Whichever you want, I had no issues here. I was visiting this area and I had to get my tank full before returning my rental car to the airport. Shell Gas has been my fueling choice for decades. Considering this was my first gas station visit in Denver, I liked it. Gas pump was functioning. I got my tank filled quickly, although I didn't use much on this trip. The cashier was friendly and fairly knowledgeable. Shelves were all neatly stocked up and inside of store was clean. I left with a good impression of Circle K in Denver.

The customer experience is rather hit or miss. It will GREATLY depend on who is working and the time of day. If the African guy (older) is there at night, RUN! This guy is rude, has zero social aptitude, will make mistakes and then act as though it is your fault HE doesn't know how to run the register and can be a bit abrasive. The car wash at night is so poorly lit you cannot see the screen in order to pay or redeem the code from your receipt if you've pre-paid. From what I've observed it also does a horrific job even when you are lucky enough to get it to work. There are far too many choices on Havanna for gas, smokes, car wash and refreshments to have to put up with the nonsense at this establishment.

Pumps were reasonably fast, but they cut you off at $100. That's not going to work for anyone with a truck or large SUV. Running my card twice is a pain and sometimes the card company will deny it because it looks fishy. Will probably avoid until they fix their pumps to allow more like $150.
