Got here 645 for a 8 am appointment no doors were being used. So I thought this was going to be quick NO SIR these people are lazy no one wants to work. It's just a pay check they come here to collect. I feel for the owner of this company not knowing his employees really don't care about keeping this company in business. Employees can make a company grow or they can make it go broke. Hope some of this company customers find a better company to deal with cause this DTS is the wrong company to do business with. Here it is 745 a.m and still all doors are empty and I'm here waiting to get a door. Good luck drivers

It is one of the best companies to work for, from my own personal experience as a professional driver.
They offer local, otr and weekend jobs,
Pay is good
Benefits are ok
Dispatch is great
Home time guaranteed 34 restarts every week.
Warehouse always loaded my trailer perfectly.
Routing is 90% perfect, while outfits like walmart and a few others expect deliveries in the middle of your 10.
I drove otr, had my own tractor and trailer. Few issues with equipment at the beginning, but all was resolved immediately.
It is an LTL setup as in multi stop deliveries and pick-ups, which is a perfect option for those who would like to drive long hauls and still be active throughout the day.
Cons:
Pay can be better
Paperwork is at 60% unnecessary, while samsara is sufficient for most of it.
Orientation is disorienting for new drivers.
Communication can be better.
Overall,
It is a great company, good people and easy job.

don’t come here i had my appointment at 1 and i got here 11 they jus siting there doing nothing they said load is not ready they jus don’t wana loaded they said there’s busy they on there phone jus chillin don’t ever come to this place im almost here about 8 hours

I told them I would switch my Current job to come work for them and after that happened only to find out that she said there was an issue with my road test! I have three years experience plus Trucking school certificate, and i never failed a road test before out of the many jobs I had! read between the lines,, that Driver that test me out heard me saying this truck had multiple violation and I also pointed out and I also tell him I don't like dogs! only to find out that he got one and i never knew, and he get offended and Tell the Recuter lady bull About my road test. If this is the way he is testing out Drivers, this company will go down because he is only doing it in the favor of people liking his cigarette smells and dog hairs all over the truck. I never fail a road test before in my career so remember read between the lines.
