They sell pokemon cards marketed as japanese 151 set (which is a really good and rare set) however when I bought one, which was 8.99, (not cheap at all) the set was a random scarlet and violet set NOT 151. They are quite literally scamming you if you buy pokemon cards from them. Other than that the store is fun and interesting but that really made the whole experience not worth it

Walked in here super excited because I have been looking for a store like Daiso, didn’t feel welcome at all and the whole store smelt like literal sewer to the point I couldn’t even walk around to look at stuff with how bad it smelt ?

Very cute store, I really enjoy the cookware that they have :) some sections are a little sparse, but it recently opened, so I'm excited to see where it goes from here!

I was extremely uncomfortable being FOLLOWED around as if I was going to steal something. I was carrying around a clear bag so I found it incredibly rude that they felt the need to do that. I should’ve read the reviews prior to visiting, but I am relieved I wasn’t the only one. The staff was very unfriendly and made me feel like my presence was an inconvenience to them. I still bought a bit $$$ worth of things because my kiddos adore Japanese snacks. However, it was not worth the long trip to get there. There wasn’t much of a selection, and based on the service alone this won’t be my first choice next time.

I've been going to Ebisu for almost two and a half years. Although most of my experiences have ranged between 4 to 3 stars due to product availability and price, I believe that 2 stars is now warranted.
Ebisu is a specialty store so availability and consistency of products can definitely vary daily for the store. However, it seems that they are starting to transition into stocking Korean products. I personally have no issues with this but is Ebisu not a "Japanese" lifestyle store?
The funny thing is that H-Mart is literally right next door, has a much larger selection of Korean products, and for cheaper. Also why did Ebisu stop stocking black coffee? Y'all have like 8 types of coffee now and every single one has milk.
I get it. Ebisu is trying to mass appeal to what's new and hip but come on guys. Ebisu is the only Japanese speciality shop in town.

I love this shop. They have a pretty wide variety of Japanese skincare, cleaning products, hair care, beverages, and snacks. There is a small section for dishware such as ramen bowls, utensils, and plates as well. It is all within a faor price range. I would even go so far as to say a lot of it is MORE affordable than purchasing the same items online. I will be returning!

I love stopping into Ebisu! They have a variety of imported goods - snacks, drinks, clothing, health & beauty items, and more! I’ve been coming here for awhile now to purchase a specific cleaner, nothing cleans our bath tub like this product! (Shown in photos)
They have really cute reusable bags for sale! Friendly staff
