I contacted the establishment in advance to confirm the possibility of receiving a re-base service without a prior appointment. The representative I spoke with indicated that this would be acceptable. Upon arriving at the location approximately 5 minutes later, I was informed by a different staff member that it was too late to receive the service, despite the business's operating hours extending for another hour and ten minutes. This experience has led me to perceive a potential bias. The discrepancy between the initial confirmation and the subsequent denial of service, occurring within a brief time frame, raises concerns about discriminatory practices based on my appearance. As a result, I will not be returning to this establishment.

Had such a good experience at fancy nails! Nancy and Lee are amazing! It’s a family owned business and they take really good care of you for a good price. Would highly, highly recommend! Can’t wait to be back 😁

Lee did an amazing job on my nails. He was extremely detailed and gentle. I will be sad when he retires 😭 I went when it wasn’t busy but they do recommend making appointments through the phone to avoid waiting. Highly recommend Lee!

I have been going to Nancy for 5+ years. It took me YEARS to find a reliable nail tech. Nancy’s attention to detail is impeccable. I love an almond shape and she nails it! She is kind, affordable and most of all talented. My nails last for almost a month.
The salon is also beautiful. Clean and beautifully decorated. Large big screen tvs that have on News or entertainment making it easy to zone out and relax. I have moved closer to the airport and still commute to see Nancy. She is amazing!

I discovered this shop from the Facebook group, from someone looking for recommendations for a great spot that is also affordable. I drove 30 minutes to get there but I have to tell you - I'll be going back and driving just to see Nancy and her husband again. In my entire life, I swear to you, no one has ever done a better job on my nails (healthy nails) or pedicure. I'm shocked. It was also incredibly affordable.
I couldn't get over how many different options they had (color, polish, shape, and style).
It's just Nancy and her husband, so it's not like walking into a salon with 20 people. As long as you can prepare for that (waiting a tiny bit or getting an appointment) you will meet two of the kindest humans around. Nancy's husband is so sweet and respectful; he did my pedicure and didn't even judge how overdue I was. He did a magnificent job! Shockingly amazing. Nancy did my nails (healthy/dip) and helped me pick a color that was edgy for me. I am so glad she did. She told me how my nails go up and how she tried to help them to go down and make them longer (while not too long for my comfort).
I can't even describe how sweet and kind they both were, and honestly it was super relaxing to be in a low key environment not buzzing with 50 people trying to get in after work.
Nancy told me she's been doing nails for 36 years. It shows. She is just one of a kind. Highly recommend!!

So, I hate leaving bad reviews, but unfortunately that is what this one is. My friend and I go to Fancy Nails because it is only a couple blocks from our houses, which is very convenient. The technicians are a husband and wife. The husband is very nice and cheerful and does a decent job. He actually does a great job with drawing fun designs on my toes in the summer time. But, I must say; his wife is very rude and unpleasant. She is always putting other nail technicians down when she notices that we went elsewhere for any work we’ve have had done at other salons. We went in last weekend for manicures, and my cuticle got nipped a little too deep and bled. It took over 15 minutes to finally get it to stop bleeding where he could finally continue to work on my nails. When it came to fingernail polish, it was hard for me to find a polish that wasn’t dried out and sticky. This was taking more time than usual (due to him nipping my cuticle and trying to find decent polish). His wife actually angrily yelled at me to hurry up because he had another client waiting. Just know, she had already finished with my friend and was doing nothing as she was yelling at me. I let her know that I was trying to hurry, but was having a hard time finding polish that wasn’t dried out. I found it to be very unprofessional and extremely rude for her to have yelled at me from across the room in front of other people. A friendly professional person would have either helped me find a polish that was fresh, or at least helped her husband get his client started until he could finish with me. She was too busy yelling at me and huffing and puffing while angrily babbling in a language unknown to me. Her husband was not responding to her and I could tell he was embarrassed. Because of her horrible behavior and uncontrollable outbursts, I do not give this salon business unless it’s an emergency, and I always regret when I do finally return.. for more abuse. Anyways, I do t recommend this business for all the above reasons.

I’ve been going to Fancy Nails ever 3 weeks since March of this year. Nancy and Lee always make sure that I am taken care of when I go in! I typically get dip and it is always done beautifully (even when I make a last min appointment)!Services: Dip powder
