I will never bring my car here again. I ended up getting really sick, so I had my wife get an oil change in my car. She brought it to 1790 s. Buckley location and instead of changing My broken oil plug they put lock tight on it and put it back in. The grease monkey on e. Hamden is the one who found the lock tight on my oil plug.

The reviews here are actually accurate from my experience! These guys are great!
They explained all of the procedures that they are going to do and they are not pushy to get them done if you say no they leave you alone. If they do find something that they are concerned about, they explain it patiently and answer questions and will repeat what they’ve said if you need it repeated.
They review all the charges and maintenance and let you know what things cost and show you any issues. They are also nice even if you change your mind.
They also tend to have better coupons if you let them spam your email.
Also, they’ve opened the door for me both times that I’ve been there to get in and out of my car and to get in and out of the building - very nice-
I used to avoid this location like the plague because when I was a teenager, it was the worst location ever, but that was a really long time ago and clearly they have improved a lot. This could possibly be the best grease monkey in the Aurora area.

Service was quick, efficient, everyone was kind. When I arrived, I was greeted in the line, was asked and explained all the right things. Once I was taken inside I had seen a young man running around doing a little of everything was very sweaty but very respectful young man named Brandon. Waited inside patiently and happy knowing I was being well taken care of. Once service was done, I was taken outside and demonstrated that I did indeed have my oil changed. Loved loved being here and will have my oil done here moving forward (:

Terrible Experience – Stay Away!
I came here for a simple oil change and left with a nightmare. After the service, my car started acting weird and wouldn’t turn off properly. I later found out that they had taken parts from my car and unscrewed random things for no reason. Completely unprofessional and shady behavior. Don’t trust this place with your vehicle — they’ll cause more damage than help. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is a complete joke. The staff at Grease Monkey clearly have no idea what they’re doing — or worse, they just don’t care. I came in for a simple oil change, and left with a bigger headache than I’ve ever had dealing with any auto shop.
Not only did they take an absurd amount of time for a job that should’ve taken 15 minutes, but they were also rude, dismissive, and acted like they were doing me a favor. Spoiler: they weren’t. To top it off, they tried to upsell me on services I absolutely didn’t need — thinking I wouldn’t notice. Shady, shady behavior.
And let’s talk about the prices. Highway robbery doesn’t even begin to cover it. They overcharged me, didn’t explain half of what they were doing, and then gave me attitude when I asked for clarification. My car left sounding worse than when I brought it in — how is that even possible?
Bottom line: do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. This Grease Monkey location is the poster child for why people hate getting their car serviced. Completely unprofessional, unreliable, and disrespectful.
