A friend and I just went in to get our hair cut and the women there was an absolute disgrace. I was there for support seeing as I don’t have hair but she cut his hair in all the wrong ways. The women was despicable up until it was time to tip then she turned that smile on. I will never recommend this place if it employs women like her

Very rude women cut my hair. Absolutely disgusting customer service. She did a horrible job on my hair and now I have to go get it shaved because it’s that bad.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not waste your money here, the quality of service and staffing has gone drastically downhill the last few times I have been in. I called ahead to see if I could request Jayce, whose service I had previously been happy with at this location. The woman who picked up the phone rudely snapped at me that she longer works there and hung up before I got a chance to see if I could stop come in for a trim. I decided to just go in since I was already nearby and take my chances since all I was going to get was a simple trim. When I walked in, there were no other customers being worked on or waiting, but the two “stylists” who were working didn’t even bother to greet me. In fact, one of them, the one who ended up cutting my hair, turned on a blowdryer and started “playing” with it as soon as she saw me walk in. I tried to ask if they were able to take a walk-in, to which the woman just said, “Can’t hear you” before turning off the blow dryer off to come over to the front. I told her I didn’t have an appointment but would like to get a trim if they weren’t busy. I noticed the other “stylist” working was a guy (older, with a “high and tight” curly hairstyle) who had previously given me and my husband horrible haircuts, so I was initially relieved when she took me back and realized he wouldn’t be cutting my hair. I told the woman, who said her name was Angel, that I just needed a trim and needed to redefine some of my face framing pieces since my hair hasn’t been cut in over 6 months. I have long straight hair down to my waist, which was dry and frizzy at the ends and a little greasy (2 days unwashed) at the roots and wavy from previously being put in a braid while damp. I asked to get about three inches off to remove all of the split ends. She didn’t even bother to wet down and fully brush my hair (which has ALWAYS been done any time I have ever gotten a haircut and I believed to be standard practice…?) before beginning to randomly hack off some chunks along the bottom. I think a total of two minutes were spent “trimming” my hair before she moved on to my face-framing pieces. She was impatient and not really listening to what I was trying to ask for without interjecting. She cut a little angled sliver from that section before asking which side I have my hair parted. I tried to show her but she just awkwardly flipped a random section over my face and “angled” it too. I didn’t really feel like my haircut was done, so I tried to ask if she could trim some more of the front, but before I could even do that she took the smock off and I was being rushed out of the chair. She didn’t even brush it out and bother to take a mirror and show me the back of my hair. I leaned forward on the mirror and felt like nothing had been done and less than five minutes had been spent on my “haircut”. I was still polite about it and went to pay. I still tipped over 30%, even though I didn’t feel like she did a good job (or really, her job, period) because I used to be a service industry worker and always try to tip well regardless, but after the transaction was made, she acted even colder, like she was upset that I didn’t give her enough money. She did not thank me, or say bye, just was very short with me and asked if I needed a receipt and waited for me to get out. When I got back home, I looked in the mirror and the bottom of my hair looks like a blindfolded first grader cut it. Super uneven and frizzy and she didn’t even get all of my split ends. Now I’m frustrated because I feel that my money was wasted and now I will need to go back (definitely elsewhere) to have someone else fix what she did and give me a real haircut. I’m very disappointed in the apathy, lack of skill, manners, and customer service from these “stylists” and would not recommend going here and getting a two-minute cut from a lazy, impatient, and entitled person who doesn’t seem to care about doing their job. Will never come back here. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Got the worst haircut of my life here. The lady who cut my hair (did not get her name but she was older with a side shave and glasses) was super aggressive with the hair washing and brushing. She was digging her nails into my scalp and forcefully raking the conditioner through and I could feel my hair being ripped out and she said it was just “shedding”. Not a big enough issue to mention in the moment so I didn’t say anything, but then there were more issues after that. She also didn’t get all my split ends like I asked and cut horrible layers into my hair. She conveniently didn’t offer me a mirror to see the back of my hair and after another stylist showed it to me I can see why. She cut the top layer one length and the bottom another length and didn’t blend anything. There was a super stark contrast, almost like she cut steps into my hair. It was awful and I had to pay more money to get it fixed somewhere else and had to have my hair cut short to even it out. Incredibly disappointed and I will never ever come back here.
Edit: The owner emailed me and offered me a refund and when I went to go claim it I encountered the same stylist (Jayce) who cut my hair and she had a bad attitude about it even though I let her keep her full 20% tip. No apology, didn’t ask for further feedback, just made a snarky comment about her pulling my hair out as if that was the only issue. She gave me the refund but practically slapped the money into my hand and stared daggers at me the whole time. I have been to several Great Clips locations and have never had any issues, maybe it’s just the person vs the location but after this experience I honestly cannot recommend anyone come here.

It was very busy there. My stylist was exhausted at the end of the workday, but still managed to be very nice to me. Appreciated 👍

My daughter and I went in to get a haircut. My hair had grown to my waist and I wanted it cut to my elbows. No layers or style, just to cut the ends and get it a little shorter. My daughter just wanted to cut her ends and cut her bangs enough to get the hair out of her eyes. There was a Hispanic and a white woman that was a bit over weight. My daughter went first and I was helping my other daughter buy product. When my daughter finished, she ran to “my” mother and the lady said she was ready for me. Since my mom had got her, I sat and told her what I wanted. The lady pulled my hair out of the bun it was in. Chopped a huge chunk of hair and said. Okay you’re all done. I laughed thinking she was joking, but she was actually Serious. She said I was done. I said, you didn’t even wet the hair or comb it, and she said “well I can wet it, she wet it and don’t measure or cut more, just said “okay it’s wet”. Confused I got up and saw my daughter with her bangs almost to the hairline. Like mid forehead. I was so shocked. My mom was mad and she was going to make it a scene told me not to pay, but my daughter started getting scared and embarrassed so I paid and went to another shop so they can fix my hair atleast. My daughter refused to let anyone touch her hair. My hair is now up to my shoulders. I cried seeing how much the previous lady said was chopped of. It was so bad that She thought I cut my hair myself by how uneven it was.

The staff seemed very rude.. I took kids and the kids were alittle unsure what exactly to tell them about he style they wanted and it seemed to frustrate the stylist cutting his hair.. my other sons neck broke out after a cut and once he went elsewhere that’s when he found out that it was from dirty or unclean clippers… gross

Jayce did a FABULOUS job on both my hair cut and my son's. So so much better than the last person at another place. Would absolutely come back here.

I’ve been here twice now, the second time I was really hoping not to get the same guy but I did. Both times he gave me a different haircut than what I asked for and both times he GAPPED me up like he’s blind or something. Uneven cut, patches and not what I wanted but what he thought would look good. I will not be back (I was honestly hoping he didn’t work there anymore).
