I called to pause my next month subscription. Was told I would receive a call back. No one called. That is typical for the aurora, Colorado. They cancel appts and forget to notify you.

Steve the massage therapist does a wonderful job. I have chronic pain from scoliosis and feel like alot of therapists dont massage deep enough to reach the muscles that hurt and the pressure was perfect.

Don’t bother scheduling an appointment here, they call to reschedule it 90% of the time for various reasons. To make it more abysmal, if you ever need to cancel, it’s half of the amount of the service, but if they cancel it’s just “yeah, sorry”.

On 07-14-2023, I arrived early for my 1:00 pm appointment and was made aware the therapist was running late. Accompanied with me was my guest who I had also booked an appointment for at 1:15pm. Fifteen minutes later I asked for a manager and was told there was not one available, nor was there a supervisor.Pursuant to the companies charges and fees they reserve the right to charge for no shows or cancelations not made in 24 hours advance. Why is your company able to charge these when you can’t make your appointment times? No one called me to say “stay at home your therapist will be late”. I’d also like to point out this wasn’t one therapist but both appointments were untimely. We both reserve times and work on schedules in conjunction with one another and expect the same professional courtesy.I write this because your customer bill of rights is in my personal opinion shady at best. I do not expect to be charged a cancelation fee when I was on time but your business was not. I also expect to be notified of schedule changes or if someone’s running behind. Will not recommend this location.

I frequent a few different locations. The first time here I scheduled a facial. My esthetician didn't show up. They fixed it by having me come back later for a different person. It was fine. But she later left the location. I typically only go here to Kyler for a massage. I enjoy our sessions but he is a firm hand and ive come home bruised (mostly my fault for not speaking up lol). I continue to go to him but have become more comfortable with talking to him. I usually just stay quiet and relax. He's professional and listens well and he gives a great deep massage!

The massage I got here was great. Top notch service on that end. Unfortunately customer service with management was terrible. I got a gift card for a massage from a different Hand and Stone location that I wanted to use there. I called ahead of time, explained that the card came from somewhere else and was told that it was no problem and could be used there. After my massage I gave them the gift card and they said it was no good and I was billed full price for the massage. I spoke with a manager later and explained the situation. She admitted that it was their fault for telling me I could use the gift card but wouldn't fix anything. Very disappointing to deal with them over this.Update: After the owner saw this review they asked me to reach out to them so they could "turn this experience around." So I reached out, went over exactly what happened again, and then waited. After a few days they told me that they looked at the situation, they recognize that the errors were on their end, but they weren't willing to do anything to fix it. Terrible customer service. If you have an option I would not deal with this store.

By far one of the WORST places to go. There is no such thing as customer service at this location. They are racist and they’re services are not great at all!! I wouldn’t reccomend anyone to go here! Stay away and save your money.

The lady was kind & gentle however the visit was like a message of face & neck then a light facial. Couldn’t justify the cost.

Hello I’m confused my daughter and son paid over 160 for a gift for a gift card in person for Mother’s Day how special that is to me I go to make a apt they still want my credit card but my gift card has already been paid for so why do you need a credit card to put on hold,please explain the reason makes no sense to me.

I’ve been a member of H&S for a few years now and this is hands down my favorite location. Juanita is amazing, but all of their massage therapists are. Scheduling can be hard, but they’re always really nice and try to accommodate you.

This could be the most inept front desk that I've ever dealt with. It took two people and twenty minutes for them to find a reservation that I made on line and then they subsequently cancelled with no warning. The appointment was for my daughters birthday and now they have no availability. Thanks for that!

Got a complimentary message gift. Have to say the staff was friendly and helpful. The gal that gave me my message was very kind and helpful for my first time having a massage. I have never gone to a massage spa before but I have to say this location the staff is awesome! Feeling so refreshed. Can't wait to come back soon.

If you work full time, where you can only make evening or weekend appointments, do NOT pay for a membership. I've had 3 last minute sessions cancelled in the last 2 months (i also had to cancel 1... a week in advance). I have 17 sessions that I have paid for. I can't get another appt again till Jan! I've canceled... I must use all 17 in 90 days. ? i can transfer a session, and the "gift recipient " can pay another $10 for the transfer. I can't apply to gift certificates. Ridiculous. Enjoy my $$$ H&S.
