They never answer their phones. Never. I drove to the store and called right on front of them. First time phone did not even ring. Second time it rung and the lady ignored the phone call. Wow. This generation people want money but no work

My husband and I took his watch to this JCPenney in Aurora mall to get his watch crystal replaced, per their warranty. We spotted a diamond wedding band that was half price $800. I tried it on, and I loved it. We decided to go ahead and make payments for 6 months interest-free.
After 2 months waiting for the watch repair and the ring to be sized,
I did not receive a phone call that they were done.
I drove an hour and a half from out east and requested the ring and the watch. They said they called the number, and it was disconnected. My cell phone number was right on the receipt. The ring was sitting there for a month and a half. Now they couldn't find the watch. I waited 20 minutes for the manager to come up and tell me the watch was not in. It had been 2 months, and she said it would be there within a couple more. I told her I did not live close and I would not be able to make the trip back for a couple of weeks. Irene, the store manager, pretty much started to blame me for not sending the watch directly to the warranty agency. I bought the warranty through JCPenney it should be their responsibility. She continuously argued with me. She never took responsibility for their mistake. I have an hour and a half drive to get the watch at Christmas and then another hour and a half back home. Don't ever shop at the JCPenney in Aurora mall and buy any jewelry. You will get screwed. I asked Irene for her boss's number, and she refused, go figure.
She should not be a department store manager she has no people skills whatsoever. She never once accepted responsibility for their store. Don't waste your time and money. Just go to Macy's or Dillard's.

I have never wrote a review about a Department store, but this has been on my find for a few weeks. The only reason I'm giving a two rating, is because of one employee that provided good customer service. Aurora CO JcPenny - 1st employee ignored me and refused to help me because I was shopping in the "fashion jewelry" section, because she was in the high end jewelry section. She called another employee that helped me who confirmed this store didn't have what I saw online. 2nd incident - curbside pick up not labeled properly, even though I confirmed I was there. I drove around and around looking for the pickup location. Called several times after confirming I was there, no one answered the phone, so I had to go into the store to pickup my curbside pickup order. Still annoyed by my experience. Will not be shopping at JcPenny again.

Made the mistake of going during Christmas week. Too few checkout stands, too few people on the floor to assist customers. I am stove up on my left knee. Men's wear was down an escalator. The 'up' escalator was not working. Not sensitive to people with mobility issues.
Prices were great, the store mostly unpleasant.

I had gone in to pay my bill but the Cashier named Mahlet made a mistake and tried to say I was paying $75 which is less than what I had given her and when I tried correcting her she accused me of trying to steal all because of the language barrier where I speak Spanish.She was so disrespectful and accusing until she called management and once cameras were checked and they saw I was telling the truth they fixed it but I wasn’t even told sorry for the disrespect of the cashier and the inconvenience they had caused all from assuming I was lying solely because I couldn’t explain well in English.
