I was referred to Johnson's by a shop that I have been doing business with for over 25 years. I am very pleased with the experience! They were very thorough, friendly and transparent. My regular mechanic does not do the more labor intensive stuff, (Rear main seal amongst other things) which is why I was referred to Johnson's. It is worrisome when more involved work is required, with a shop that you are not familiar with, but I did not have any worries after the job was complete. It definitely helped that someone I trust recommended them. I will say that the negative reviews I see about this company are ridiculous. You get what you pay for, and anyone who complains about a fair price for good work is clearly out of touch. Owning and maintaining a vehicle is expensive. Highly recommended by me and my regular mechanic!

EXPENSIVE, POOR INTEGRITY.
This was my first time at Johnson’s. The final bill of $2400 seemed really high for the repair, but I was in a jam so I paid it. Later I did some homework. Other shops quoted me $800-$1000 for the same service. When I went back and asked for clarification on the discrepancy, I was told that the service recorded on my receipt was not actually what they did and it was really called something else. This seemed pretty shady, but I went along with it. A gentleman at the front desk encouraged me to call the other shops back and make sure I told them the correct service, and that, if there was still a major discrepancy, I should come back and he would work with me to make it right. During this discussion, we also found that he had overcharged me almost $300 in labor, which he refunded. When I returned the next week having found that there were still a major discrepancy between the shops, he just flat out told me they were sticking with the price that they had charged me. When I questioned him again about the $1600 difference, he said it was probably due to labor costs and warranty, BUT, I found that the labor rates between shops were pretty close and the warranties were the same. Johnson’s Automotive took advantage of me, and then hid behind excuses when I tried to hold them accountable. AVOID Johnson’s Automotive!

Took my car there for an over heating issue, they said they fixed it but it was still broken, not to mention they broke something else while fixing it, and took months for it to get back into working condition, and it’s still not all the way fixed. You have a complicated problem, go elsewhere. Need your oil changed that’s easy enough.

The team at Johnsons Automotive is fantastic. Steve explained options in detail, did exactly what he said and had very fair pricing. No games, no gimmicks, just great mechanics. Very happy with them and highly recommend!

I found Johnson Auto through a friend who said they had great service. After taking in one of my older vehicles I was grateful for the service rendered. I have since decided that they should have all my business and have now taken my Trail blazer there as well. Great and very friendly service

I recently had some unexpected car troubles and found Johnson’s Automotive Repair online. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. They took good care of my car while they had it and I truly appreciate their hard work! I will 100% be returning and recommend this shop!

What a blessing that our broken-down vehicle was towed to Johnson's Automotive Repair - merely because it was the nearest shop around within our AAA tow allowance (sheer luck). We purchased the used vehicle only 3 weeks before...and it completely seized beyond repair while traveling to the airport. The dealership basically shrugged us off without even an apology - but thanks to Steve at Johnson's we went from flushing $16k down the toilet to discovering that the vehicle was part of an extended warranty program, and the engine was eligible to be replaced at the manufacturer's expense!! So grateful that Steve went the extra mile and BOTHERED to do some additional digging (versus the incompetent and uncaring dealership). Couldn't be more grateful and appreciative for Steve and this repair shop! Thank you!

The owner is a good guy. He runs a quality shop that does good work at a fair price. Hard to find these days. Will go back again. I own several cars two with over 100k miles. Places to like this keep them going.
