Their suppliers aren't doing well on keeping chips in stock and their on strike. They did have a great price on bolthouse farms juice though

I love this Kings Soopers and I understand the reasons a strike is happening. However, the behavior of the picketers at this King Soopers, is unacceptable and disgusting.
My husband went to the store and as he was leaving he heard the picketers making demeaning comments towards another customer who was also leaving the store.
They should not expect support by acting, in public. I will happily cross the picket line going forward.

Declining location that now has security to help combat the problem customers and high theft rate. I hope the security helps alleviate the problems.

The aggressive armed security guards are insane. I walk into the store and they are yelling and belittling people who are less fortunate. I’ve had to yell at the security guards just to get them to calm down while I walking into this store. They cause more problems than solve them. I’ll never be shopping at king soopers again and the heartless guards and managers should feel shame from ripping bread out of peoples hands. It’s just pathetic.

I was attempting to return some sharpie markers that I had purchased previously at this store. The lady at the service desk took one look at me and said she could not return them because I did not have the receipt. I almost felt as though she thought I had stolen them. Her attitude and her demeanor gave me that impression. Overall it was a horrible experience. If it was not the closest store to my house I would not shop there. The location at iliff and Buckley is much better than the staff is much friendlier

Don't forget friends, store security needs REASONABLE SUSPICION that you have committed a crime to stop you as you exit the store. You have no obligation to present your receipt as you leave. Tell them no thank you and keep walking. Don't let them normalize treating all their customers like criminals.

This store has started to ask customers for receipts when leaving. I just want to let it be known that it is not required to show your receipt to any store that did not have you sign a membership.
If they are truly that worried that you are a thief do not argue with them. Tell them to go check the many cameras that they have in the store.
You do not have to show your receipt to a grocery store that is open to the general public. This is not Costco. This is not Sam’s Club. It’s Kroger.
