Standing in line at the one open checkout stand for 10 min., decided to use self checkout..The scanner would not work so used hand held scanner..This stores customer service May equal the post office on a good day…but most days is worse service than USPS.. Open more checkout stands or close the store..quit using pharmacy months ago because of terrible service so it must be systemic. A beautiful store terribly mismanaged..

The worst store!!! Never have my prescriptions ready (or in stock). Checking out is a NIGHTMARE. One lane open with a mile-long line. Self checkout is a joke. Nothing works correctly. I DID put my item in the bag. Every single time it says I didn't. So over it!!! Merry Christmas.

If you follow my reviews, you'll see that I've provided feedback about a different King Soopers and how that's gone downhill in recent months. Now going to a new King Soopers, I can see that the problems are ubiquitious. Because the store is severely understaffed, every restroom for public use is either trashed or out of order. The self checkout lines are long because not many registers are open. Most of the machines didn't work, and the self check employee was unavailable for some time. The photo included shows a cashier running over to help, but this was only after 5 out of the 6 machines were in the "Assistance needed" status. Shelves have to be restocked during peak hours and you can sometimes barely navigate aisles due to it being crowded already. If you can find or support any other grocery chains, good luck.

Tim - Head Clerk, and clerk Melissa, absolutely outstanding!! Cheerfully spent time walking the entire store to find the moved Soda Stream display which was eventually found in storage in the back. You’ve got some customer service gems there KS S Peoria store!

I found out tonight that these poor employees don’t know when they are working their next weeks schedule. Who runs the scheduling at a large company like Kroger? I wanted to ask an amazing employee when they work next week so I could bring them a gift for their amazing service and they didn’t know when they work next week? What is going on? Who makes these poor decisions??? None the less I will just show up until I see this amazing employee and give them the credit that is deserved!

Great Customer Service! and the Store Clerks are always friendly.. If there ever is a price discrepancy a Manager or store clerk will make it right for a customer.. The sales and variety for food selection is pretty good. My only complaint is they need to hire more employees. Especially during peak hours because, they’re will be one regular checkout lane open. and like twenty-five plus people waiting to use the self checkout lanes…

You can't ever find a handbasket or small cart, and the lines are insane because they only ever have a self-checkout and maybe *one* other cashier. It's no wonder the paging system constantly calls out unanswered customer calls -- it's clear the owner wants to run this place with an absolute skeleton crew to save a couple bucks.Well I hope the savings were worth it. I'll go several miles out of my way to go to Safeway. It'll be faster in the long run.

The store itself is ok. The layout is deliberately difficult so you'll visit areas you'd otherwise avoid. My biggest complaint is that their app is absolutely terrible. It's difficult to know if you've done what's necessary to acquire the coupon and the self checkout doesn't show savings as you go. Safeway is only slightly better but I always go to Safeway first unless convenient. And I've discussed with friends and it's agreed ... the app is terrible!

Do not go to the store if you are brown one of the guard racial profiles you by standing next to you at the checkout and front door. Again if you are brown don’t go to this store. The reason to stay away is this a ghetto store.

Good store. Was never the best KS, but also not the worst KS. Big problem with un-housed folks in store & also panhandling in parking lot. They camp nearby.Security guy on duty mid-day weekdays (tall thin dude) is GREAT. But he can't be everywhere at once when there are multiple un-housed people in the store (shoplifting ?, grabbing stuff & eating it in store ? definitely not just using rest room) and also in the parking lot. Not sure what can be done, but it is definitely an issue at this particular location. It's a convenient location for me, and not yet at the point where it causes me to go elsewhere. But as other comments show, it is causing a loss of other customers.

Why can't you get hot food out at the deli? Are you lazy? Are you ignorant? Did you hire all the old McDonalds managers who think that lunch only starts at 11:01 am? I take time to pull out of traffic, park, walk into your store...and now I gotta go to Sadeway, where I know for sure they believe that lunch starts much earlier. Get it together...geez.

Empty shelves at 6 on Sunday. 1 cashier open. 30 people in line for self checkout. No potatoe salad in the whole store. Store is less than 1star. Kroger shopper for over 50 years

Money services refused to cash a check with a passport, even though the website lists a us issued passport as an acceptable ID. Furthermore the cashier at money services was rude and dismissive. Already called and complained. Giving a 1 star so that corporate can see this and either change the website or retrain their employees.

This is a wonderful store with a wonderful staff. I have been shopping here for over 10 years. However, I have been shopping here less and going to the Buckley and Illiff store instead. Not due to anything the store has done, but what I find outside. The vagabonds not only have stolen most of the shopping carts, but they are constantly wandering the parking lot asking for money. I no longer feel safe here and prefer going elsewhere, even though there is armed security here.
