Here's a revised version of the statement:
"This store boasts a fantastic selection, but a close friend recently encountered a disappointing situation. When he inquired about a sale price clearly advertised throughout the store, the sales associate initially argued and caused him considerable embarrassment. Only after my friend presented multiple signs promoting the same discounts was the issue resolved.
While the store itself is impressive, this incident left a negative impression on us.

The soap dispensers were missing and there were no paper towels. The sinks also only work if you hold the button down with one hand.

Macy’s at Town Center Aurora restored my faith in Macy’s stores. Excellent experience, staff were very friendly and courteous. The store is clean and organized. Macy’s store in Burlington Mall, Boston Mass can learn this one big time.

My mother and I went to do some shopping for the after holiday sales. We were followed through the entire store for our entire visit. When I went to the register the employees were searching the coat I was purchasing as if I was trying to steal along with my purchase. They turned the coat inside out and the hood along with the pockets forcefully as if they knew I took something with other staff standing near by watching closely.
We felt very targeted when we did nothing wrong but were just browsing. We didn’t come in with any bags in fact we got a paper bag to leave with our purchases and my mother and I spent well over $200 each. Then we were told you better hold onto that receipt insinuating we would be returning them.
Macys has always had great items for a great price which we loved the clothes and coat we purchased, however, the staff did put a bad taste in our mouth. We will be driving a little further away to another Macys going forward. We won’t be returning to this location.

In the last 3 to 4 years this store has really gone downhill. When I first moved to the area I loved going shopping at this Macy's. Now the clothing selection for guys is sad. It's like a (not so high-end Ross). Even when I was talking to the ladies working in the Men's Dept they agreed. Trendy, nice, casual clothes like Lucky and Buffalo David Britton offered on the website aren't available. I wanted a new pair of Lucky jeans and one of these shirts and I couldn't buy them for New Year's tonight. Do better Macy's or I can see you on the chopping block soon. I doubt I'll be shopping at this store again!

I have washed this quilt once, and it has been in use less than a month. It is already fraying (see picture). Because I was beyond the 30 day return policy I have no options. Horrible quality and horrible customer service online. Shop anywhere else, but not here.
