Why is there 2 people working but only 1 of them is working and the other one is bombarded with people in line trying to check out. I sat in line for 10 min at a gas station at 10pm while 1 was doing nothing behind the register and the other one was trying to get the 15 customers checked out. Not my first bad experience here

I’ve been going to this Maverik location since it opened and never had an issue—until tonight. I tried to buy cigarettes using my Colorado Digital ID, which I’ve used here many times before without a problem. The employee refused my ID, telling me that the store had a new policy against accepting digital IDs. When I came back with my physical ID, I watched them check out another customer using a digital ID with no issue.
When I asked about it, the employee admitted the “policy” was just something he heard by word of mouth, not actual store policy. This is completely unacceptable. Employees should not be making up policies based on rumors. Customers deserve consistency and accurate information, not confusion and wasted time. Clearly, this employee was not properly trained, and it reflects poorly on the store. Passing off rumors as part of store policy really shows lack of care and professionalism.

Check your receipts if you go to theis gas station. Had 50 miles left in my tank and the pump oddly stopped at $20 and would not restart. I almost left, but decided to grab a receipt.
The attendant got really rude and threw it at me. I thought that was pretty over the top behavior as I drove off.
But as I glanced down at my receipt, it read over $27, and included 2 starbucks drinks that i DID NOT PURCHASE. And I had no gas in my car.
Payment stopped via my credit card.

I just stopped this Monday morning to get my car washed. It was opened as I could see customers getting their cars vacuumed. When I approached the washing station, it was closed. I waited, no one was coming out. I honked, the girl came out with an unpleasant face. My car wasn’t cleaned, it got only soap and water sprinkled over. I drove to wash it again and asked what was wrong with the car mops. She wasn’t happy at all to face me again and said it happened because I didn’t follow her directions to have my car straight. The car got soap and water and dried up. Has she turned off the mops? I wonder. I signed up for unlimited access but am considering to change. Customer service is way below expectations. I prefer to pay more but get at least a smile at the beginning of a day.

6:30 PM stopped to get gas and grab something to eat. No hot food at all - not even a hotdog. A few cold sandwiches in the refrigerator case. Ended up leaving with nothing. I’m noticing this to be the case with more and more Maverik convenience stores. They used to be consistently good. What happened?!

Never really had any respect for a gas station before, but Kum & Go brings it to a new level. Seriously, try the pizza.
Update: Not a Kum & Go anymore and when it was bought out by Maverick it’s gone downhill. Soda machines are never really refilled, the hotbox is NEVER stocked, and now they’ve taken away the FREE air pump. No idea whose decision that was, but this place is straight GARBAGE now.

I’ll just pile on to the other reviews complaining about lack of everything in the hotbox. This place could make a good bit more money if they kept the hotbox stocked and I’ll add the condiments are almost always non existent as well. Meanwhile there will be 2-3 employees standing around socializing and having great times.
